By far my fav sunset location! I’ve been going to sunset in the east end my whole life. My mom used to take me to the original one in the beaches every weekend, then we started going to the second older one on Danforth. This one is also one of the OGs I think. By far the best service and quality. I am never disappointed here. I always get the same thing and the waitress even remembered last time. The servers are so good they grab you stuff before you even ask. The guy with the mun is so great! He is on the ball, the girl server on Sat morning is the sweetest and so fast. We love it here, we usually sit in the same spot. It’s now a weekend routine. We don’t go every weekend because we have to save our belly’s from growing but we go about every other. This place will forever be my fav! Also sunset has their bottomless coffee figured out! It’s sooooo good! They won’t tell us what kind but we know why haha gotta keep some mystery! Good job folks at this location! 🍳🥓☕️ I am shocked I don’t have photos but I think it’s because I go so often. I will add some next time 😊

I came here Saturday afternoon from 11-2 and I had a blonde lady serving me. She was the nicest server I’ve ever had. She did a great job making her service personal by telling us about her daughters and comparing their tattoos to mine. But that’s besides the point. She was really kind and was also really fast. I can’t remember her name and I wish I did but she was a blonde mother of two daughters. So 5 stars for customer service. The food and prices: amazing. The food was perfect, the portions were huge neither my boyfriend, sister nor I could finish our meal. They gave us 5 pieces of bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes for the sunset super meal and I added toast on the side. The food also tasted really great, especially their potatoes. It was only about $35 for two people including drinks. Probably the best breakfast place I’ve been to. This is definitely going to be my go-to whenever I’m craving breakfast foods.

Very classic western style breakfast and friendly staff. Came on a Sunday morning and ordered the crab cakes benedict ($18) and the sunset super with peameal style bacon ($14). This breakfast is as American as it gets. The home fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the sunny side up eggs had yolks with beautiful yellow trails once pierced, and the peameal bacon was full of flavor. The pancakes were massive and tasted ok, but they're essential in a traditional western breakfast. The crab cakes benedict is a hard pass, as it was way too salty and just imitation crab for the steep price of $18. Overall, the servers are very nice and portion sizes are good. If you crave an American breakfast every once in a while, I'd highly recommend coming here.

Indeed, this is a breakfast place. The portions were excellent, and plating was right on point for presentation. The restaurant was very clean, polite staff, and service time was excellent. Table was missing a footing and was wobbly, so we fixed it with a napkin to prop it up. LOL no problem though, no marks off for that, an easy fix.

it almost goes without saying that this is a much higher class of meal and restaurant than other local eateries, especially fast-food offerings in and around StockYards, such as McDoNaLdS. The quality of ingredients and care from the staff does such a better job.

There is quite a bit of selection, there is the base dish option and then a clearly labelled menu with additional upgrades such as adding bacon, ham, or so forth. Well thought out menu, this is a very high point of the restaurant.

Prices are a bit north of what I like, but these days in the restaurant game it's a hard win with the price of food goes up whenever Galon Weston wants an additional raise to redo one of his mansions' many kitchens. I had the poutine, and the other person had the French toast. Both of us were full and overall, both of us...

Being a regular at this location since opening, I can say I was worried about new ownership. Now having continued my lunches at my favorite spot (even takeout during lockdown), I can say without a doubt, the new owners and staff have made a flawless transition into maintaining a 5 star experience.

The food has always been great, the cooks/chefs are experienced at making your favorite breakfast meals, and do so expertly. Ill also add that they're very friendly if you talk with them.

The service is exceptional! Friendly and professional, even with a *sometimes stubborn * customer like myself. Servers show pride of workmanship, trying to make your mealtime as pleasant as possible, and it shows. Working in construction, I don't always have a lot of time for lunch. I can confidently count on the food coming promptly and hot, as well as my coffee always being full.

The management (old & new) have been "hands on" and present. This has been a crucial keystone to their success, and, one of the key pieces that will keep me coming back.

One of the best locations, with great food and...
