We recently dined at Pho 90 with a group of ten and were left quite disappointed by both the service and food quality. From the start, the staff repeatedly asked for confirmation on our group size, even after we suggested splitting into two booths.

The service was nearly nonexistent throughout our visit. We had to write down our order on a piece of paper and then wave down a staff member to collect it, which felt impersonal and inconvenient. They didn’t provide enough glasses of water for our group, and basic utensils, like a spoon and fork for the broken rice dish, had to be requested separately when they should have been included.

The food was equally disappointing. The bun bo hue came without any of the usual vegetables, and the banh canh cua was overly salty with no discernible crab flavor. It was obvious that the crab was frozen, given the distinct freezer taste and the fact it was served in a square block shape.

For the prices charged and given the restaurant’s positive reviews and awards, we expected much better. Unfortunately, none of us enjoyed our meals or drinks. One person in our group had to wait an additional twenty minutes for their food, by which time the rest of us were already three-quarters finished.

Service did not improve after the meals were served. The staff never checked up on us, and we had to ask for the bill twice. When they finally came to take payment, they seemed visibly disappointed by the tip amount. Frankly, it’s ridiculous to expect such a high tip—or any tip at all—when the service is minimal to nonexistent.

Out of a group of ten, not a single person liked their food or drink. It was a below-average experience, and we left feeling like it was a waste of money and stomach space. We wouldn’t recommend Pho 90 based...

for those of you who didn’t know this place used to be called Sweet à la mode. It was a cute bakery that was high-end they would serve high-end tea and ice cream. They also had some baked goods . Now it’s known as pho. They serve Vietnamese food instead and have changed the appearance of the interior as well as the exterior. The staff is friendly. There’s free Wi-Fi and you’re always served with water first with no ice which I love because I hate ice and water and in any of my drinks cause it dilutes the flavor. I ordered chicken and shrimp dumplings. They were fried they were delicious and they came with a sweet sauce. I highly recommend that. My mom and her friend came with me and they ordered a mango salad and two different dishes on the menu and they weren’t impressed at all. In general, they thought it was overpriced, and that the food was just all right and they won’t be returning, I personally thought it was good from the dish that I had and I will come back just not so often because it’s quite expensive. If you love Vietnamese food and you love to dine with the beautiful atmosphere I highly recommend this place. It’s great for taking photos and coming here with friends family. This place is known and it’s a bit busy it’s not super busy. Seems like there’s few staff members working. Overall, I had a...

The best experience I had was when the owner was present at the restaurant. My worst experience was earlier today. I called and reserved a table. The host noted my time and I shown up on time. When I got there, the restaurant still had a lot of empty tables so he asked me to pick any table. I picked the one with comfy seats and near the window (also with the sign "reserved" on it, I assumed it was mine since I made a reservation) and one of the servers immediately shut me down, saying that it's only for group of 4 and above. Mind you, I got the same table last time for dinner when the restaurant was super busy and I only came with another friend, there was no trouble whatsoever. I was a bit annoyed but didn't mind to choose another table. The whole time my family and I dinned, all of the servers were cold, never made eye contact, and never smiled (the ones not wearing mask). They also gave the table that I initially wanted to a walk-in couple (only for group of 4 and above eh). I know they did not reserve that table because they just randomly chose it. I'm not sure if it was the lack of owner's presence or not but the service was much better when the owner directly managed the team. I was greatly disappointed so I gave a tiny tip and vowed to never...
