Mary's Place — Restaurant in Toronto

1st time visit and I let them know. $10 Meatball sandwich. The all beef meatballs tasted good well seasoned although I seen them sitting in a tray of sauce half submerged so the tops were kind of looking pretty dry... you would think they would rotate/move them around if there's not enough sauce to cover them all but no they been sitting that way for a while you could tell, till she grabbed the ones she needed for my sandwich... very kind nice lady who greeted me well once I walked in the door by the way, back to the sandwich now the Bread was excellent 👌 I'll give them that and clearly big enough to hold 4 meat balls but I was disappointed I found only 3 once I unwrapped my sandwich. The bread per meatball ratio was really off and I wasn't pleased about that cause it didn't feel like a complete sandwich. I asked for cheese I got one half sandwich with cheese that only covered one meatball and the other half had a slightly bit more than the other. Last but least they cheap'd out on the sauce as well. I also couldn't believe that they wasn't able to toast my sandwich for me since their niche/specialty are "hot sandwiches" I think banana peppers would be a good topping to add to your list too I love them when I get them on my toasted meatball subs from Mr Sub. I Don't think that was right not being able to get my sandwich toasted... anyway I hope you take this as positive criticism and use it to improve yourselves a little bit more. I for one am probably never going to return after this experience. Best of luck to ya in the future...

Horrible

My last experience at Mary's place was horrible. The food is great but customer services SUCKS! a customer should not have an employee of Mary's place yell at them, why they think this is okay is beyond me. I love the food but i will take my business somewhere else.

Wasn't too sure about the place when we arrived, due to the time (mid afternoon) it was completly deserted, but got great sandwiches (3 veal cutlets in my sandwhich? Wow thank you) and super tasty rice balls. Would go there every week if i worked near. The rice balls are dirt cheap... 4 $ could do you for lunch. And would love to try every sandwich...
