BEWARE: Alot of places these days have forgotten about the SARS days and even simple food safety rules and servers are obviously being failed by management to teach servers and observe server performance for the most serious issue of cross ontamination and/or cross contact of food, cash, credit machines, servers busking dirty dishes and cleaning tables, etc, all of which i observed yesterday here. When a server does not wash hands after handling other table's dirty dishes, napkins and utensils and then the server brings your plate or drink to you and your food touches the part of the plate that the server held to bring it to your table while you eat your food and you eat this, then you can end up on the toilet at home all night with the runs or you could end up like the fellow thst used this restaurants only male toilet and obviously was a second or two late making it to sit on the toilet as self evidenced by the most obscene excrement tragedy that i have ever witnessed in my entire life,,,, the toilet seat snd lid completely covered with diarhea, absolutely totally disgusting. If you ever see a server that handles other peoples garbage or used dishes and utensils and they don't wash their hands afterwards before serving you, please DO NOT take a chance, do yourself a favour and LEAVE !!!!! Why pay to be disrespected and subjected to...
Read moreDear Store Manager,
I am writing to express my concern regarding an unpleasant experience I had with a customer service representative at your store. I visited your location to pick up a delivery and was disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of one of your employees, which significantly impacted my experience.
During my visit, the employee I interacted with displayed a dismissive and discourteous attitude, which I found unacceptable for a customer-facing role. This behavior did not align with the level of professionalism and respect I expect from a business in Canada, where customer service is typically held to a high standard. Specifically, the employee’s demeanor made me feel undervalued as a customer, and I believe this does not reflect the values of your organization.
I kindly request that you address this matter by providing additional training to the employee in question to ensure they understand the importance of politeness, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Reinforcing these values will help align their approach with the expectations of Canadian customers and enhance the overall experience at your store.
I value your business and hope this feedback can contribute to improving your customer...
Read moreThis review is not about this location - it is just the one closest to me. I grew up on Swiss (even worked there as a teen) and have always loved it (even though you would be hard-pressed to get crispy skin these days) but this review is about the fact that they no longer make their ribs in-house…they use their ready-made ones you buy in the supermarket which just isn’t the same! I could tell right away and asked the server at the Kingston and Lawrence location and she didn’t know so she asked the kitchen and sure enough, they bring them in and reheat them! I will still go because I’m a nostalgic kind of person and I love my chalet sauce but I will never order the ribs again. For shame Swiss! You should prepare all your proteins from scratch in-house. Keep in mind that the next generation is not that into you so you can’t afford these short cuts! UPDATE: Swiss responded asking me to contact them to discuss but it’s been weeks and no one has reached out so I guess it’s just...
