Dear Store Manager, I am writing to express my concern regarding an unpleasant experience I had with a customer service representative at your store. I visited your location to pick up a delivery and was disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of one of your employees, which significantly impacted my experience. During my visit, the employee I interacted with displayed a dismissive and discourteous attitude, which I found unacceptable for a customer-facing role. This behavior did not align with the level of professionalism and respect I expect from a business in Canada, where customer service is typically held to a high standard. Specifically, the employee’s demeanor made me feel undervalued as a customer, and I believe this does not reflect the values of your organization. I kindly request that you address this matter by providing additional training to the employee in question to ensure they understand the importance of politeness, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Reinforcing these values will help align their approach with the expectations of Canadian customers and enhance the overall experience at your store. I value your business and hope this feedback can contribute to improving your customer service standards

I rarely eat out, and today, September 11th, reminded me why. It is my mom’s birthday. She passed away in January, so it was already a hard day. My dad and I decided to give Swiss Chalet another chance, even though we had not eaten there in years after noticing the quality going downhill. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. For $37, we ordered two quarter chicken dinners, and what we received was nothing close to what's marketed. The taste was mediocre, and the plate was mostly fries with very little chicken. The only positive I can mention is the customer service, which was good. But beyond that, nothing stood out. We will not be spending our money here again. Instead of investing in renovations, Swiss Chalet should focus on improving food quality, because poor meals and disappointed customers will overshadow fresh décor every time. I will not be a repeat customer. 👎

Joined an old co-worker for late-night dinner and arriving within 20 mins to closing, dined in quickly and were treated with world class service as if there was lots of time and not closing soon. Our orders came accurately and Fresh for being the last ones from kitchen. Service was world class. Not once did anyone pressure us to eat fast and or tell us to hurry up, as they are closing. We felt very welcomed. There was also an older couple behind us that were treated with the same kind of world class service we received. From all the associates working tonight, to our waitress, to the worker at take out that let me use a pen, to the closing Manager Jaspreet, Thank You All! There was also a situation with a *Karen* that was handled professionally by the takeout staff as well as the manager Jaspreet, who provided a world class solution.

BEWARE: Alot of places these days have forgotten about the SARS days and even simple food safety rules and servers are obviously being failed by management to teach servers and observe server performance for the most serious issue of cross ontamination and/or cross contact of food, cash, credit machines, servers busking dirty dishes and cleaning tables, etc, all of which i observed yesterday here. When a server does not wash hands after handling other table's dirty dishes, napkins and utensils and then the server brings your plate or drink to you and your food touches the part of the plate that the server held to bring it to your table while you eat your food and you eat this, then you can end up on the toilet at home all night with the runs or you could end up like the fellow thst used this restaurants only male toilet and obviously was a second or two late making it to sit on the toilet as self evidenced by the most obscene excrement tragedy that i have ever witnessed in my entire life,,,, the toilet seat snd lid completely covered with diarhea, absolutely totally disgusting. If you ever see a server that handles other peoples garbage or used dishes and utensils and they don't wash their hands afterwards before serving you, please DO NOT take a chance, do yourself a favour and LEAVE !!!!! Why pay to be disrespected and subjected to...

This review is not about this location - it is just the one closest to me. I grew up on Swiss (even worked there as a teen) and have always loved it (even though you would be hard-pressed to get crispy skin these days) but this review is about the fact that they no longer make their ribs in-house…they use their ready-made ones you buy in the supermarket which just isn’t the same! I could tell right away and asked the server at the Kingston and Lawrence location and she didn’t know so she asked the kitchen and sure enough, they bring them in and reheat them! I will still go because I’m a nostalgic kind of person and I love my chalet sauce but I will never order the ribs again. For shame Swiss! You should prepare all your proteins from scratch in-house. Keep in mind that the next generation is not that into you so you can’t afford these short cuts! UPDATE: Swiss responded asking me to contact them to discuss but it’s been weeks and no one has reached out so I guess it’s just...
