Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

Pretty amusing, really, how much they managed to mess up a simple takeout pizza in the name of short-changing their customers.

Placed an order online and was given the ready time of 7:22 - 7:35 pm. Arrived at 7:30 pm only to be told that they hadn't even started on the order yet, and to wait 15 - 20 minutes. I wasn't the only one, with at least 4 other patrons being subject to the same waste of time. No apology, just excuses.

Eventually got my pizza and made the tired mistake of not checking my order before leaving. Arrived home only to realize that not only were there barely any toppings on my pizza, but they'd omitted the garlic dip and pepperoncini Papa Johns is known for. Called in to find a solution to be told that this was, concerningly, a deliberate decision from the staff member and that "if I wanted them I could've asked". Not sure how I would magically expect an unadvertised change with the same product after 10+ years of ordering it, despite the fact that both items were clearly listed on the order.

Moreso, despite the existing time they'd wasted in extended wait and calling in, the only solution the staff member offered was for me to make the 30 minute drive back in the rain to fix their deliberate misstep. Agreed to give them a day to find an acceptable solution for their blatant fraud, but never heard back.

I'm not sure what backwards business practices these operators are bringing to the brand, but cheating your customers is not the right reputation to build in...

BEWARE OF ORDERING FROM HERE!!!

I ordered from here last night (March 3rd) and what a waste of money. I even gave you guys a tip!

I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and a BBQ Chicken pizza online through the Papa Johns website. I even gave a tip in hopes that the quality and experience would of been better then the first time I ordered from here... How wrong I was.

I arrive to pick it up and head home. Open them up and the philly cheesesteak one is a fresh, hot pizza. The bbq chicken however was not. It was an old pizza that they just reheated!!! What a joke. I used to work at a pizza place so I definitely know what an old pizza looks like. The toppings were hard, the cheese wasn't melty and the chicken had this white frosting type stuff on it that is a tell tail sign that it was old! I can't get over how you think people wouldn't notice that. They just bank on the fact people won't bring them back...

I was hopeful to have a better pizza place to go to (other then Pizza Pizza or Domino's) and was glad when this location opened up not too long ago but nope. I won't be going back here again. You can trick others and give your hours old pizza to others but I won't be duped again! So disrespectful, dishonest and disappointing...

Order online for pickup in store last night. Got to the location and the location is pretty small in terms of just a small area where people can wait to pickup orders or place orders. I could see that getting full if more than 3-4 people were there at the same time. There were 3 people working that I could see, 2 girls and 1 dude. Both ladies just looked at me without saying a word but the guy finally came over to ask how he could help. I told him my name and he went to get my order. He was friendly and nice, so 5 star service for him.

Food wise I didn't get my signature papa john's garlic sauce or peppers either like other people said in their review. Shame. Pizza was fine, toppings felt a tad bit on the lighter side compared to the Dundas West location.

I tried one of their bowls and for some reason I was picturing like the pizza pizza pasta bowls but it really just is a bowl of toppings and cheese, no pizza dough. So that is a mistake on my part for ordering lol. I won't make that mistake again as it was going to be my lunch for today.

I also did notice that the advertisement/flyer this location sent out shows their Papadias as being $9.99, but if you go to order from this location it's $10.99. So why there's a $1 difference just for this location which contradicts their own flyer? I...
