Pasta Pantry has the best fresh pasta in Toronto! There are quite a few places in town these days that sell fresh pasta and sauces, and I've tried a few of them. Pasta Pantry's pasta is superior in taste and texture, and reasonably priced relative to most others. The meat sauce is also stunningly good! I've only tried one of the soups and that was also great. If I remember correctly, the ravioli, lasagna and some of the other items come from a partner "pasta factory", but those have been excellent as well. I try to drop by every couple of weeks or so for the fresh pasta or to restock the freezer with a couple of packs of frozen ravioli. Love this little shop! I quite often stop in on Saturday after work to pick up some fresh pasta and sauce for dinner. The portions are quite large and are a hearty serving for my husband and I. I have tried quite a few of the freshly made sauces and haven't been disappointed with any of them. They are delicious and satisfying. It's wonderful to be able to have a hot fresh meal, within a half hour.

The gentleman who owns the shop is incredibly nice and very pleasant to deal with. He's always happy to answer questions and offer suggestions!

Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you. This place is the real deal for fresh pasta, and clearly has a lot of regulars. Carlo, the shop owner, is very knowledgeable and friendly. There's three large freezers full of stuffed pastas (with cheese, meat, or fish options), several fridges with fresh homemade soups, and both red and white pasta sauces in different sized jars. Everything was very reasonably priced. Carlo will cut fresh pasta sheets to order, and teach you a thing or two about pasta while you wait.
