I've been here last year with my 10 y/o daughter and was disappointed when they charged her as an adult. Because of that, I forgot that the food here was very pleasant. First off, the ambience of the dining room makes you feel like you're at an izakaya. Geisha dolls on the walls, Kanata displayed as well made for a great aesthetic. Only wished there were curtains or dividers blocking the horrible wall of boxes and containers that looked extremely ghetto. Secondly, the food was absolutely incredible aside from a few dishes. We had a large spread of nigiri, maki, and sashimi. Fish was warm, which is how it supposed to be served, none of the sushi fell apart and the sushi rice was properly cooked. My favourite dish was the Snow Dragon Maki Rolls. The tobiko and kewpie mayo they use compliments the red tuna and avocado in the roll and adds a huge punch of umami. Only issues is the naming conventions: they call Tonkatsu "pork tempura" which i found weird. Menu also seemed to be way too large for this small space and with only 2 sushikos working dinner service. Lastly, the service was way better than last time. Both servers took the time to tell us what every dish is that they were bringing to our table and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. FAIR PRICES, GREAT SERVICE, AMAZING SUSHI. ARIGATO GOZAIMAS !

Echo Sushi is everything you want from your local sushi experience with a focus on speed and freshness. From the moment we sat down, the service was impressively fast, ensuring we didn't have to wait long to enjoy our meal. The tempura was perfectly crispy, light, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce. The sashimi platter was beautifully presented, with thick cuts of salmon, tuna, and other fresh fish that were vibrant in color and rich in flavor. One of the standout rolls was the Spicy Dragon Roll. It was pretty large for a sushi roll, but still the perfect size to enjoy in one bite without feeling overwhelming. The avocado was perfectly fresh and creamy, which can be hit or miss at some places, but Echo Sushi nailed it. The spicy mayo sauce added just the right amount of kick without being overpowering, enhancing the overall flavor. The other roll, the Spicy White Tuna, was a pleasant surprise. It's not as commonly found on menus, but it was light, fresh, and offered a nice contrast to the richness of the dragon roll. Even the miso soup was a comforting, flavorful addition to the meal. Overall, Echo Sushi is a fantastic spot for fresh, fast, and high-quality sushi. Highly recommended!

Amazing little AYCE sushi spot that offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious sushi & teppanyaki options - even on their lunch menu!! The Cube steak with garlic was perhaps my favourite dish on the menu—it was flavourful, marinated well, and grilled to tender perfection. It paired excellently with the fried garlic slices. Every bite of that cube steak was a pleasant surprise. I like it even more than my usual go-to (beef ribs). You have to order the cube steak whenever you visit Echo Sushi. The sushi was also fresh. I liked how they made it into bite-size pieces so you could taste the balance of the fish and other ingredients instead of being full of rice like some other AYCE spots. The dessert (banana and ice cream) was also super refreshing and yummy at the end. While the interior is a bit old, the servers were very friendly and approachable. Price-wise, the lunch AYCE was actually not bad at all—it was 28.99 during the weekday. In this day and age, 28.99 for ACYE/buffet is actually quite cheap. I'll for sure be back often to Echo Sushi, as I really enjoyed my visit here!

First time here, and the experience was awful. We went as a family of four. We ordered on pen and paper, and we would hand them the sheet after we were finished with it. It took them 1 hour and 45 minutes for them to bring us all the dishes from our FIRST SHEET. During our long wait, we decided to order another batch of stuff, and we got our rolls almost immediately after we sent the sheet in, but the grilled dishes we ordered 45 minutes ago were nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, a couple behind us were ordering a la carte. They came in after us, and we saw the waiters hand them dish after dish while we sit here with nothing on our table besides the empty plate of sashimi. We came to a conclusion that this restaurant prioritizes orders from people eating a la carte, and they will ignore buffet orders. Whenever we asked if our dish was coming, they always had to go back and check. A 1 hour and 45 minute wait for food is absurd. Not only this, but the waiters were also extremely rude. We ordered some salmon teriyaki (which came an hour later), and when we received it it was burnt. The waiter then said "its only the skin its fine" implying that she wanted us to eat it. We told them we cannot and will not eat burnt food, and the waiter replied "If you won't eat it then fine." With no apology, she took the dish and left. This experience was not only shocking but the worst we've ever encountered with buffets. If you're planning on ordering a la carte, the experience will be better. Avoid this restaurant if you're going for a...
