Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Toronto

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

I have contacted their head office with the following:

Today (Sat. Nov. 5, 2022), my husband and I went to the Popeyes at 3790 Bathurst St. at about 4:15pm. We ordered a 2 piece meal with onion rings and paid the extra to have white meat only.

They gave us TWO (2) legs. NOT what we wanted. NOT what we ordered. And DEFINITELY NOT what we paid for.

My husband pointed it out to them and was told we'd have to pay even MORE for them to fix the issue!

We escalated the issue with the manager on duty and the MOD had the audacity to say that because we 'touched' the legs (because we noticed they were NOT what we ordered) we'd have to buy anew. That was completely unacceptable. The MOD was incredibly rude and tried to lie to us about us not paying for the white meat, even when my husband showed the MOD our receipt which indicated the extra amount for white meat only!

After 25 minutes, your location refused to give us the two pieces of white meat.

We have been customers at that location since its opening. I work in retail so I understand that working experience, but this was beyond professionalism. What a deplorable...

I was offered a complementary meal so I went back to the restaurant to get it but the customer service experience was awful, I was treated as if I was begging, they also messed up the order by putting something I asked them not to put on the sandwich so I threw out the food. The manager had the gul to ask me to send him a picture as if he thinks I just wanted free food from them and telling me it was a miscommunication. I was also asked by the manager if I liked the sandwich I must change the rating which it's obvious it's all he cared about.

I had a chicken sandwich combo yesterday Sunday December 5 at this restaurant and I don't know what happened but I felt I was eating oil, the fries and the chicken in the sandwich was full of oil, I had to throw away the food because I started to feel like I wanted to vomit and I did. I've been trying to contact the restaurant since then and not able to...

(Good chicken, but very stingy servers there. Bought six pieces of chicken and they hide their napkins. Asked for napkins and this girl gives me three pieces of napkin for six pieces of chiken and fries. Just ask for everything and check everything before you leave, they will try to not give your condiments and napkins and spoons. It's part of our money to get these stuffs.) Previous management review with 3 stars. New review. Edit. The new cook or the manager makes the perfect fried chicken now. Before the breading was heavy and always feel heavy after three pieces. Now this manager knows how the chicken is cooked. The breading is perfect and it taste good like how fried chicken should taste. I don't care if they give a paper plate instead of a box, the chicken is awesome there and fyi info we notice it and love it. Keep up the good...
