I have never received such bad service at a Popeyes in my life. I wanted to use a coupon "buy a 3PC tenders meal at reg menu price, get another 3PC tenders meal 50% off." I didn't want to actually print it and decided to open the coupon on my phone. The shift leader wouldn't allow me to use the coupon on my phone and said I needed a "hard copy" (even though it doesn't say that anywhere). He said a "barcode needs to be scanned." So I ended up ordering something else, no big deal. Some lady ordered after me and showed the same coupon on her phone (no bar code). He allowed her to get the discount. He was obviously hoping I wouldn't notice but I asked him why he honoured the coupon with her and not me. He nervously said "she ordered the food over the phone." That didn't make any sense to me but I didn't want to argue anymore. He was clearly overwhelmed with how busy it was in there. I came home to go on the website again to see if a bar code would pop up if I hit "print coupon." There is NO BAR CODE to be scanned. He was making it up!

Read moreWent in here for the first time and got excellent service from the young lady who works there whom also looks new to me. She served my family and i with a pearly smile and polite manners and gave us our meal RIGHT when we were handed our change. I've never been to a popeyes with such eager employees especially so soon after opening. This employee seemed to know exactly what she was doing and was clearly very attentive during our entire order process to ensure that we got exactly what we ordered all in one shot,without any mistakes. This was stupendous, since we usually get our order mixed up heavily at different locations around the GTA. Overall,our service was amazing and I'd like to thank the young girl with brown hair & blue eyes (we forgot her name, I believe it starts with a K) for ending our stressful workday with incredible service. We WILL be back soon and we hope to make it a tradition to see this young lady handling our order again. Please give this girl a good ol' hand shake for us. Oh, and the food...
Read moreOverall, they have seemed slow when either ordering in person (have to wait 15 min to get an order) or through Uber Eats (delivery time is often 60 min ). But the food is usually fresh so we have put up with the delays. On this occasion we were hosting a bunch of people - because we usually have to wait to get the food we figured it would be safest to pre-order through Uber eats with a preset pickup time between 5-530 . At 455 pm, we get notification that the store cancelled the order - no reason provided, no phone call (I was lucky I happened to check my phone). We then had to scramble to order from another locations.
I'm not what sets of conditions would cause them to cancel an order all together without a stated reason. I'm sure they didn't out of chicken! I'm guessing they prioritized people who were ordering at the store, and we were hung out to dry.
As this isn't the first time we've been left hanging by this store, will order from the 2221 Bloor Street location...
