The best thing I can say about this place is that it has a door and a bed. There were a ridiculous amount of flies and other bugs in the room, constantly landing on me. Almost everything was disgusting. There was random gunk and crumbs and viscous fluids in the AC and everywhere else. There was a major leak under the bathroom sink, haphazardly "fixed" with SOMEONES SHIRT tied around the pipes. It didn't work. I ended up almost slipping on the puddle of water that had formed on the floor when I came into the bathroom the next time. Also, the tap noticeably "bounces" when you turn the water on and off. It looks like it's about to fall off at any moment. The smoke detector was chirping all night, so I had to take it off and seal it in the bathroom with the flies. The price was awful for the quality. The deposit was $100 and the room was $150. These rooms are worth $120 at most, and the quality is not nearly good enough to warrant requiring a deposit. I suppose maybe that's the nature of owning a motel in a big city, but it doesn't make it any less acceptable. Queensway Motel, do better.

Worst overnight stay my girlfriend and I have ever had. Nobody with any self respect should stay unless absolutely forced like we basically were (needed a last minute accommodation before our road trip home). We payed $85 for a tiny room that had obviously not been properly cleaned or cared for in months; visible holes, blood stains and other mystery stains on the bed sheets, someone else's hair on the pillows, dust everywhere and run down furniture. To top it all off, the cups in the rooms aren't even from this motel: they have the Holiday Inn logo on them! And finally, the staff were rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful.

I had no place to stay, had to come to Toronto for an emergency doctors visit. To my horror I found this very early this morning. I was repulsed and disgusted. Can they not replace the mattresses? They are charging 130 dollars a night per room they treat their clientele like lowlifes and they have no respect for them at all. To hide this with cheap worn out blankets is horrible business etiquette. The motel should be closed until they make some serious changes.

At the front desk I was told to sign my full name on an electronic signature pad and my receipt was printed out. My e-signature appeared just below the No Refund disclosure on the receipt that was handed to me. I was not shown this No refund disclosure prior to signing, but there was a small sign, which was placed on the check in counter, that stated No Refunds. We were checked into a single room with a queen size bed. My friend was starting to unpack when my son (who was with me) noticed that there were cockroaches on the floor of the room, some alive, some dead. I was so embarrassed! I told my friend to start repacking while I immediately went back to the motel office to inform them of our discovery. We were in the room no more than approximately 20 minutes! I informed the front desk clerk that I had no intention of accepting a room that was cockroach infested and that I expected a full refund as we were not going to stay there. The desk clerk, without even going to our room to verify our find for himself, merely offered to move me to another room and also told me that he was not authorized to refund my deposit due to their No Refund policy. I told him that I didn't want my friend to stay anywhere in their motel, since cockroaches are likely to be there as well and also that cockroaches present a potential health hazard, let alone that you also risk the possibility of carrying them home with you! The desk clerk told me that only the owner, at his sole discretion, could reverse a charge. I asked to speak with the owner and was told he wasn't in and for me to call the following morning when he would be. I left quite angry and came back the next morning and again was told that the owner wasn't in but was on his way, which turned out to be not true. In any event I started getting the runaround and spent the next 2 days trying to connect with the owner and finally, after my continuous persistence, on the morning of December 9, 2019 I was informed by the desk clerk that the owner was not going to give me a refund for the 1 week stay, even though my friend did not spend a single...

I must have lost my mind the day I booked a reservation for this shame of a "motel". They make you pay up front before you are even allowed to see the rooms, which are absolutely disgusting. When you open the door, you are greeted with an overpowering smell of mouthwash and disinfectant which does nothing to cover up the fact that it's still dirty. The bathroom didn't look like anything had been washed off in ages and the shower looked like it needed to be replaced years ago. The air conditioning barely works, but most importantly: the window hardly opens! The room I had booked was on the 2nd floor, so if by chance there were a fire, I would have no way to jump out the window. I don't think a newborn could even fit through it. To add to that, there is also no labeled fire exit so again, you're likely in trouble if you were ever caught there if there was a fire. ||||When I went to make a complaint to the front desk staff, the man working there was extremely rude and would not listen when I tried to voice my concerns. He told me I was not allowed a refund as per the "policy", which they also do not inform you of until after you have paid for. My boyfriend tried to tell him about the fire hazards and all he said was 'well, there's no fire so there's no problem here". He argued that the room was perfectly clean when anyone else who were to look at it could clearly see otherwise. When I said I would not be staying at this dump, he laughed in my face. Now I am out 300$ because of this shady dump. Some reviews I had seen prior to this claimed the hotel was cleaning itself up but I certainly disagree. We left and went to a Comfort Inn, which was 1000x better. AVOID...
