Popular Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

I came here few weeks ago for the first time, and I still remember the taste. I tried out the tandoori chicken pizza and I'm glad I did. I was greeted by a gentlemen as soon as I came in, and he was really nice even though it was my first time. The meat and vegetables were balanced out, some pizza places can be stingy on one of your toppings, but all the toppings were balanced out. It was cooked perfectly, the crust was not rock hard and burnt like other pizza places. The tandoori chicken was not dry, it was cooked just right and very flavourful. I'm glad he asked if I would like cilantro on top it definitely enhanced the chicken flavour. If you like to have your pizza spicy you can ask them. I may be alittle selfish but if they do get more "popular" I hope they will continue the great customer service and atmosphere, and of course continue making tasty pizza :) I like their pizza box, it had a funny slogan too lol. Keep at it popular pizza !...

I have only ordered online from Popular Pizza. And their food is obviously top notch. But my 5 star rating is not because of the obviously tasty and good quality food. It is for the service. I have ordered only twice from them. And both the times I had called in to either verify my order, or make some changes or know the status. And the guy answering my call has been nothing but polite and very accommodating. Apart from this, the second time I ordered from them they sent me a complimentary pizza because my pizza got some bubbles while baking (not sure what it was but something like that). This only goes out to show that they really care to over deliver without even the customer saying !! I have never seen any place how much ever big it is to accommodate customers like this. Any other place would have just let the pizza be as is. This place not only identified the problem (without the customer mentioning) BUT delivered the solution...

Their food is good, But their manager lacks professionalism unfortunately. After making an order through a phone call I got a call back saying that theres no order from this number, I ended up repeating my order. This somehow resulted in 2 identical orders being placed ( I was completely unaware of this) Apparently after this whole debacle the manager has decided to Block my number for any future orders. Well Im not coming back for any business for sure but since you guys have good food, you should train your representatives better so that can convey information without any misunderstandings. Also what kind of business wants to block customers just because of one...
