Check out @bredgyeats on Instagram for more food posts! This bread has absolutely Stollen my heart, each bite hitting my taste buds with an unmistakably festive flavour and an indulgent dose of marzipan within. Spiced with a warming dose of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, it harmonizes with the burst of sweetness of the marzipan, dried fruit, rum, vanilla and candied orange peel. Contrasted with the nutty crunch of roasted almonds, it's somehow completed with a thick crust of powdered sugar that will make it difficult you sneak a bite when no one's looking (you'll do it anyways). Even if Stollen is not in season, swing by to grab any one of their bakery items, as they've got their croissant game down. A buttery bite, flaky exterior and a delicately airy structure inside makes it the quintessential croissant every French person seeks.

Robinson Bread is a true gem for anyone who appreciates high-quality bread and pastries. The aroma of freshly baked bread hits you the moment you walk in, and every loaf is perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. Their pastries are nothing short of divine—flaky, buttery, and filled with a variety of sweet and savory options that make it hard to choose just one. Sam James coffee shop adds to the charm, offering expertly latte that pairs perfectly with any treat you select. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to relax, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely afternoon.

have been meaning to try some of their breads since they open up and they do not disappoint! the pastries are so so good, although they might strike as a little bit pricier but you really taste and feel the quality and love they put into their products. highly recommend the spelt cinnamon rolls, they are to die for if you like yours flakey instead of doughy (and i could probably eat this all day). and the focaccia makes you question what have you been missing out all this time.

This is definitely one of the best full-service bakeries in the city. It's small and unassuming, but at a time when there is great bread and pastries being made at all sorts of new bakeries around Toronto, Robinson Bread stands out.

I visited for the first time today and got a loaf of the Whole Grain sourdough, along with a selection of pastries. I was there around 9 and there were a couple people waiting. Full COVID-protocols in effect and all the staff were following the rules. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Bread: All I can say is that it was perfect. Great texture inside and out, with a really nice sourdough flavour. The flavour was really balanced and the character of the fresh grain really comes through, giving it a mild nutty and almost fresh taste. Bright, almost fruity.

Pastries: All were great, but the Spelt Cinnamon Swirl was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Truly, if I could only eat one food again for the rest of my life, it would be that. Cross a cinnamon bun with a croissant and a bit of kouign-amann crunch, and you get this amazing treat.

Also tried the blueberry corn cake (Great texture, nice blueberry flavour), the cardamom coffee cake (really interesting texture, almost on the savoury side of sweet. Loved the fresh cardamom flavour) and the quince danish. The danish was the only one I didn't love (but I still liked it!), and I only didn't love it because quinces are boring.

I can't wait to...
