Rui's BBQ — Restaurant in Toronto

My first experience with Rui's BBQ and will definitely NOT order again.

I ordered a "half piglet - cut" and paid for delivery as well ($90). When the delivery arrived, it felt a little light, but I trusted that they had measured it before delivery. When I opened it, it looked more like a quarter or third rather than a full half of a piglet, so I took a picture of what had been delivered. After weighing what I got delivered, all together it was less than 2kg of roast.

I sent them a photo of the delivery, they said "that IS whole half piglet, that IS what you are supposed to get". A day later they asked me to send them a photo of the delivery on the scale which I could not take because I had already weighed it, prepared to contact them about it, and ate since it was all we ordered to eat. I am not going to just throw it away or let it sit while Rui's BBQ decides to get back to me. They say it is not their mistake but, where did the 2kg of my order go? I trusted them and gave them $90 in advance to deliver 3.5-4kg of roast. I only got 2kg, and they do not trust me.

Not as it used to be..... Used to be good, when it first started. Attentive counter personnel, clean and renders great s service. Last night, was the worst I've seen. 1 customer in front of me, but it took more than 10 minutes to take my order. While the staff were just talking. When a mouse behind the counter started crawling out to the floor. One of the counter staff got startled, then they all laughed. It was my cue to leave that place, never to return again. I hope I could've snap a picture...

We were on our way to another Portuguese chicken takeout restaurant and it was closed so we saw this place and popped in. This is the best Portuguese chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken was so moist and tender, the flavour was perfect. We devoured the entire chicken. As well they sauce their potatoes which is an absolute must for me. Hands down best Portuguese chicken...
