Simba’s Hot Chicken: A Fiery Delight Simba’s Hot Chicken has quickly gained a reputation as a go-to spot for those who crave a bold and spicy dining experience. On my recent visit, I was eager to see if the buzz around this place lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, the casual and vibrant atmosphere made me feel right at home. The menu is straightforward but enticing, featuring various levels of heat to cater to all kinds of spice enthusiasts. I decided to start with their signature Hot Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was crispy and juicy, with a coating that packed an impressive punch of heat. The spice level was intense but well-balanced, allowing the flavors to shine through without overwhelming my taste buds. The sandwich was topped with crunchy pickles and a creamy slaw that provided a refreshing contrast to the heat. For sides, I opted for the seasoned fries and coleslaw. The fries were perfectly cooked – golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy, offering a cool respite from the fiery chicken. Simba’s also offers a variety of house-made sauces, and I couldn’t resist trying the spicy ranch. It was a delightful addition, providing an extra layer of flavor and a touch of creaminess that paired well with the hot chicken. The service was friendly and efficient, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make recommendations based on my spice tolerance. The portions were generous, making it a great value for the quality and quantity of food. Overall, Simba’s Hot Chicken delivers on its promise of a fiery and flavorful experience. Whether you’re a spice lover or just looking to try something new, this place is sure to leave you satisfied and coming back for more. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu options.

My GO-TO SPOT for some hot chicken with friends in the GTA . Food: The food itself is always made hot, fresh, and is priced substantially way better than various other popular hot chicken spots in the GTA such as Dave's, THG, and New York Sliders. The portions are huge and I would argue it's one of the best bang-for-buck chicken places. The tenders are the size of my hand. Their Simba's / comeback sauce is also very good. I also have to highlight how I appreciate the quality has been improving over these past months. There was a time a couple months back maybe even in 2024 the tenders were smaller and even the breading would just fall straight off the chicken. However I do not have any of these issues anymore. The fries are one of my favorites too. At least for me, when I dine in, they have been some of the crispiest fries I've ever had. I'd argue they are some of the best in the GTA. The only thing I have did not like from this place was there hot honey (back in 2024), however I'm sure they have made some changes will need to try again. Service: Usually 10-15 min but worth the wait, especially if dining in. Friendly staff. However, if you dining in would recommend bringing water as soda I believe is the only options they have. Atmosphere: Seated in a nice food court, nothing insanely special but it is nice as you have a lot of other food places around you that you may want to try. Lots of space to sit and has washrooms nearby. No complaints here, it's just like a mall food court. Accessibility/Parking: Huge lot, never had any trouble finding parking in all the times I've been to this location. Overall: Compared to many chicken places in the GTA, one of the best value spots. Huge portion sizes. I like that they are changing and improving the quality of their food frequently.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Simba's Hot Chicken, and I must say it was an unforgettable culinary experience! Let's talk about their Nashville Hot Chicken – it was nothing short of amazing! The crispy coating was perfectly seasoned, and the chicken itself was juicy and tender. What really sets Simba's apart is their range of spice levels. Whether you like it mild or extra hot, they've got you covered. And the selection of sauces to accompany the chicken is simply outstanding. I couldn't get enough of their homemade sauces, each one adding a unique twist to the flavor. But that's not all – their Smash Burgers were a delightful surprise. The patties were cooked to perfection, with a nice char on the outside and a juicy interior. The toppings were fresh, and the pickles added a touch of sweetness that elevated the entire burger. The Chicken Tenders were another highlight of the meal. Crispy on the edges, soft inside, and so delicious. They were a real crowd-pleaser, and the dipping sauces provided the perfect complement. I would definitely recommend the Honey Mustard and Hot Honey. To wash it all down, I tried their milkshakes, and I was blown away. The Ferrero milkshake was a chocolate lover's dream, rich and indulgent. And the Biscoff flavor was a delightful surprise – super smooth and creamy, it tasted heavenly. Overall, Simba's Hot Chicken is a must-visit for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for Nashville Hot Chicken, Smash Burgers, and Chicken Tenders. With their variety of spice levels, sauces, and incredible milkshakes, you're in for a treat. Don't miss the opportunity to dine at this gem of a restaurant – I can't wait to go back for another mouth-watering meal!
