I usually get fabulous customer service at each and every Starbucks I go to, especially because I’m extremely polite anywhere I go. However, this morning myself and some friends went to grab coffee and some breakfast before a long drive and there was a barista named Ollie (this is what their name tag said) who was completely dismissive and rude. First, they place our hot items on the counter and my friend goes to grab them and thanks Ollie. They then turn to my friend with an attitude and ask “Why don’t you just wait until I put your whole order on the counter?!?!” — my friend, confused as to why she’s being interrogated for grabbing items she paid for said “Um.. because it’s ours?” And he simply turned away and dismissed her. Then we were given the wrong size drink and my other friend went up to ask for it to be made in the correct size, with all the please and thank yous— still being polite and giving this individual the benefit of the doubt. They then inspect the label on the coffee and turn away wordlessly to (we assume) make the coffee in the correct size. At this point, they decide to start talking about us to their coworker to which their coworker replies “you can do it!” as if we did something wrong… the whole time I felt like I was in a twilight zone. I work in Customer Care and deal with health, safety and legal complaints on a daily basis, many of which involve people who are highly frustrated, stressed etc and I have never felt the need to treat customers in such a way. I know we all have bad days, so I’m hoping that’s what this was. However, the interaction stuck with me enough that I felt the need to write this review.

Read moreProbably the most noisy and dangerous Starbucks I ever been in to. A group of young punks were making noise inside the café. I told one of the guys your friend is too noisy it should turn it down a bit. One of them told me to shut up that is not my problem. When my wife and I went out to the parking area to get our car. I found out that they were waiting outside for me. While one of them was driving a black pick up truck. One of them got of the truck to come an fight me. I took my glasses out because I had to defend myself against three guys coming at me. I was concerned for the safety of my wife. Thank God a gentleman was having a smoke outside he came to stop the fight. And they run away in the truck and another car like true cowards they are. This was my experience at lovely Starbucks on Yonge St and Bloor West on a Sunday of January 06 at 4:00 PM . Unfortunately, there was no police anywhere in the area. When we came in for a coffee, we found the environment very toxic and extremely unfriendly with very loud rock music. Absolutely not a family environment where you can take a family member like your wife or mother Because the staff (the Employees) are extremely oblivious and careless. The employees bad attitude and carelessness just contributed to the toxic environment...

Not to mention they kicked me out and I can no longer enter the store of they will call 911 now as an international student Studying Jn Canada the smart card thing to do is to never come back to that location ever! I'm disappointed with the way they behave around me at the end of the day I am a classy person so I shake the hand with the manager and leave these breaks my heart as a frequent Customer at Starbucks, oh not to mention that they let customers enter to the store Without a mask I'm fully vaccinated and I still wear a mas in places with a high volume of people, The CEO of Starbucks will be embarrassed for the horrendous customer service these people have so guys please avoid this location at all cost is a horrible store please I'm not lying to to you this Starbucks location has the worst...
