Subway — Restaurant in Toronto

Just updating my review because they still have new tasty products and an updated store this is a great location. 🤗🇨🇦👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻🥖🫑🥪🤷🥰

I totally stopped for a minute to read another review which was outlandish and just talking about lettuce. Let us give thanks for Subway! Get it Lettuce that was a produce joke.🤔🤷‍♂️😅

Anyways I have been personally eating at Subway since it came to Canada back when Subs were $5 each. You can actually still get a good combo for one or a deal on multiple Subs.

People used to think that I actually worked for Subway I have a positive attitude I have been categorized the community worker and a mental health worker. Eating healthy is good!

Personally I like the steak and cheese or if you need to go cheap get a ham sub with bacon, however there are lots of good food and I asked specifically that apparently this location is 24 hours because there is not one at Cloverdale!🤷‍♂️

Please remember whether you are an employee or a customer when it comes to food service and customer service minimum wage was increased so people would have a nicer time not be grumpy and feel entitled and argue.🤔

Hello , it was my worst experience with any staff member and at any restaurant in Canada,Since 2021. I was late from Toronto and was going to brampton.Unfortunately, on that time there was not chance to go Brampton by public transit till 4:00 am.then i just entered this subway around 2:30am to sit for few hours.Then I get napping there on table and I don't know when it was eight o'clock in the morning. Then the restaurant’s receptionist was changed and was lady there. First i used washroom then she knocked so heavily and when i came out she said customer was waiting in loudly and rudely way then i ignored her. Then i had a bleeding nose and I asked her for napkins,because i was unable to find them in cutlery things. Then she came in so attitude to my aide and gave me napkins like i am her enemy.

I worked in restaurants for 3.5 years in kitchen, shift manager, team member, Receptionist and helper as well. But never behaved like that even when its busy time of restaurant.

I think she thought that i am people like going here there without any reason by my get up and because of my physical weekness.

Please. Look up...

I want to preface by saying I spent 10 years working at Tim Hortons in high school & college so I have a special understanding & patience for food service workers.

That being said, the service here is absolutely APPALLING! I went in 01/04/25 2:45pm for a #2 Canadian sub. I took my eyes off the girl making my sub for 2 seconds to look at the menu and she put orange cheddar on my sub. No problem, I just asked her if I could please have white cheese. She looked me straight in the eye & said no, it comes with orange. I offered to pay extra (the girls down at Feildgate location have always made it with white so 🤷‍♀️) The girl continued to argue with me, telling me I need to order a completely different sub.

It's just cheese lady, wtf?

After looking at the brown lettuce & decaying tomatoes as additional topping offers, along with this girls attitude (over cheese?!) I walked out. It's a sub, it's not worth being abused by a "sandwich artist" over. I'll never be back. That was next level, in the worst way. Go somewhere else.
