I had a disappointing experience at this Subway location due to misleading and unprofessional behavior from the staff member on duty.
Misleading Pricing Information: The employee initially told us that there was an ongoing offer where a 12-inch Footlong and a 6-inch sub cost the same. Based on this, I chose to go with the Footlong. However, upon checking the receipt later, I saw that no such offer was applied and we were charged full price for both Footlongs. This was misleading and dishonest. Incorrect Combo Charges: We ordered two Footlongs and requested a combo for only one of the 6-inch subs. Despite this, we were charged for combos on all the subs. When I first noticed the error, I brought it to the employee’s attention. She pretended to be unaware and blamed it on the rush. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and took the chips and drink for the second combo. Repeated Deception: Upon a second check of the bill, I realized that all subs (even those we didn’t want in a combo) were charged as combos. When I confronted her again, she again pretended not to know. It felt like she was deliberately trying to overcharge or confuse customers. Observed Misleading Behavior With Other Customers: I stayed in the restaurant for about 30 minutes and noticed that she continued telling other customers that the 6-inch and Footlong subs were the same price – clearly not true based on the receipt. Unusual Restrictions and Poor Service: My spouse requested 4 sauces, but the employee refused, saying only 3 could be added. I have visited many Subway locations and have never encountered this restriction. When we asked for more vegetables, she kept ignoring the request and had to be told multiple times to add more. Overall Experience: This experience felt dishonest and manipulative. It seemed like the staff member was either not trained properly or was intentionally trying to deceive customers. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and appropriate steps are taken to address this behaviour just to confirm that employee was a lady around 5 feet height and...
Read moreThe server, Tanya, was extremely manipulative and rude to me. She tried to make me pay for five foot longs, when I clearly said I wanted to the coupons to buy three - 2 for 16.99 and one free. I was not aware that “addt’l” meant additional, and thought it was French.
Instead of explaining to me why I couldn’t do that, they instead argued with me that I would be getting five foot longs despite me asking multiple times for only three. When I asked for clarification, if I was paying 16.99 plus tax (Tanya assumed I didn’t know what tax was and tried to explain it to me). She confirmed that I was going to pay 16.99 for all five foot longs.
I made the mistake of trusting her word, because the total bill was 53 dollars (tax included, not exact amount). They kept saying that I had to pay that despite telling me multiple times that I would be paying 16.99 for all of them.
Eventually I talked to the manager, who wasn’t even in the building so I had to call them by phone. They told me that I had to pay. I again refused, since I was told that I was paying 16.99.
The manager also tried to intimidate me by calling security. I was not being violent, all I had was an aggressive tone but I was not yelling or screaming. They deemed this enough for me to be considered a risk to their safety.
Tanya also tried to tell me I wasn’t allowed to record her because she was a girl. I have that on video, completely ignoring how they record everyone that walks inside their building no matter their age, gender or race.
Horrible experience. Yes I was wrong initially but it’s worse to be lied to that I WILL be paying 16.99, and then suddenly surprised when I pay 53 dollars (plus the churro I tried to order). They wasted my time and the mall security’s time. Good thing they kicked me out because I used all my phone’s battery recording.
EDIT: They also didn’t give me my coupons back, despite not...

If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would – Disturbing Experience
I’m more disappointed now than ever with Subway Woodside. I returned based on an email from the owner (dated April 18) offering me a 6-inch tuna sandwich and a cookie as a goodwill gesture. When I arrived, I spoke to a woman who claimed to be the owner. After showing her the email, she told me the time had elapsed and that I was no longer entitled to the offer—then accused me of trying to scam them.
Nowhere in the email was there mention of an expiry date. I found the accusation incredibly offensive. I’m an honest person—I wouldn’t drive out of my way just for a $9 sandwich unless I had a legitimate reason. She then called the actual owner, confirmed the email, and reluctantly agreed to honor it—but in an unnecessarily rude and condescending tone. I told her it was fine if she didn’t want to give it to me, but she continued arguing with me.
To make matters worse, the vegetables she served were wilted, and when I asked for fresh ones, she pretended not to understand.
This was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and frankly, the food wasn’t worth the trouble either. If I could give zero stars, I would. I highly recommend avoiding this location.

One of the worst subway franchises DO NOT GO HERE!! I ordered 6 inch tuna sandwich $9, she asked for payment before the sandwich was even made. I asked for white bread, not toasted but instead got stale bread probably left over coz the Indian franchisee too cheap. The tuna was rancid, jalapeños dried out and tomatoes wilted and by far not the freshest nor edible. Overall experience horrible I’d give them 0 stars...
