AVOID - UPDATE JULY 5 2023 Change of ownership? What happened? This place used to be amazing - one of the best in the city, now we will never go back. Ordered our usual - 32 piece combo maki, sushi and sashimi - and it was INEDIBLE! Never in the 30 plus years of eating sushi and sashimi have we ever had to SPIT OUT FISH that was not edible. Please disregard our previous review as it reflected the previous owners who were masters of their profession. As with a lot of things these days, that too is no more. The current sushi chef has no idea how to properly cut fish. The pieces were slabs not slices. There was no love of craft present at all. We actually had to throw out our meal. What a waste of $50. The prices have increased, the quality has evaporated, and the experience is nonexistent. We are very sad to have lost another of our favourite places. ------> previous review below <------- Fabulous Sushi and Sashimi. Located in the home of our previous favourite sushi restaurant Dani Sushi. We were skeptical at first as the previous owners, an older couple, ran a very good sushi establishment. Sushi 4 U has continued the tradition of excellent quality and value at this location. The operators are very friendly. We regularly get takeout, and eat in when we have the chance. Highly recommended.

My wife is Japanese. We just moved from NY about a year and half ago and have been looking for a really good (while reasonable) Japanese restaurant. Our search is over. Sushi4u at this location beats the socks off any of the competition. We sit here stunned how good everything we ordered was. The owner is extremely knowledgeable with regards to the fish he serves as well as the quality and type of fish he offers (there are many different kinds of salmon, tuna, etc that sushi places can look to serve). This is someone that tried selling uni from hokkaido and fatty tuna a few years back, bringing the best stuff. I'm a bit sad a lot of those things are no longer on the menu simply because folks weren't ordering them but he still insists on quality for the things they do sell. It shows. Our shock came from the quality vs the price point. No one is beating this place. We can't wait to go back!!

This place is my new favourite sushi place in Etobicoke. I was hangry and needed something to soothe my soul. Easy, sushi. I placed an order with uber eats and did not expect to be blown away and smiling with my order. I first opened my order to see the cutest drawings and labelling and I just knew this place was going to be great. Whoever packaged this, kudos to you! This one small thing made it special for me. Everything I ordered (black dragon, sushi and Maki combo, double salmon roll) was delicious but the best part was the Maki. The sashimi to rice ratio is PERFECT. I find other shops load up on the rice and I end up cutting half the rice but not here! Absolutely divine! My new go-to spot. Thank you for soothing my soul!

I ordered from Sushi 4 U, take out, for the first time and used their online ordering system which was very easy to use and had lots of options. I had a special request for my toddler’s meal; that they include mostly one type of vegetable as he won’t reject it lol - they were so kind and accommodated my request which I really appreciated. Entering the restaurant to pick up my order, I was greeted very warmly. It’s very pleasant and charming inside and I will definitely be back for indoor dining. My husband and I were very impressed by the quality and quantity of our order. Everything was delicious. Our toddler also loved his udon meal. We were very pleased with this experience and are so glad we have discovered this wonderful local restaurant. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you for such a...
