Sweet Flour Bake Shop — Restaurant in Toronto

I've ordered from Sweet Flour multiple times for friends. They have cupcakes and cookies galore and the reviews have always been exceptionally positive but I've never ordered them for my own family until this Valentine's Day. Now, I KNOW personally why they all rave the way they do. I ordered the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and they were absolutely divine. What I appreciated the most is that the cupcakes were not too sweet, a personal pet peeve of mine - you can't taste how good a cupcake is if it's drenched in sugar. These are by far the best cupcakes I've ever had.

The vanilla cupcake was just the right amount of sweetness, soft and moist with a wonderful vanilla buttercream frosting that actually tasted like good ol' buttercream frosting, nothing artificial about it! The vanilla cream filling was a pleasant surprise - truly like a hidden gem to experience.

The chocolate cupcake was equally good with its chocolate fudge icing and vanilla filling. I had to fight family just to get a bite! This was a chocolate lover's dream come true. Moist and well, like a true gift to experience.

Thank you Sweet Flour for making quality products with quality ingredients. Best cupcakes our family has ever had and I certainly plan to treat my family and friends...

Just wanted to share my experience, because they deserve the positive feedback. I placed my order on the website, which was fairly straight forward to do. I paid the extra charge for the specific shipping to be for before 2pm on that date. I called on the day of delivery to make sure everything was still okay and as planned, 2 hours prior to the latest expected delivery time. They assured me at that time all was well as planned. I called again 20min after the latest expected delivery time, concerned because it had not arrived yet, and that I paid the extra fee to make sure it arrived for someone's bday and before they left work. Long story short their customer service from here was above and beyond. They contacted the courier and was advised it would be 30min late. They were apologetic and sympathetic to my dilemma. They notified with me via phone call and email when it was arriving and, to my surprise gave me a full refund on the courier fee. At the end of the day the only issue was not even their fault, it was the courier service they used. I was told by the birthday girl everyone loved the cookie cake and that it tasted great. I am not usually a person to leave reviews but in this case I had to. I found Sweet Flour through the recommendation of a friend who had ordered from them, and I'm so glad that I did too. I placed my order online a few days in advance, and I like that I was able to leave a note for delivery information (where to leave the package in case the recipient wasn't available, etc). I chose the delivery option instead of the mail option, and the package was supposed to arrive some time between 9 AM and 5 PM. I was so impressed with the delivery because it arrived at 9:30 AM, so early! The recipient was so impressed with the packaging (beautiful brown gift box with blue ribbon) and the card was printed in a lovely font. The cookies looked gorgeous and from what the recipient told me, they were very soft and delicious.

I cannot say enough good things about the service, quality and care with which this bake shop conducts their business. I'll definitely be ordering from you again and telling everyone I know to order their baked goods from you. Thank...
