I recently hit up the Taste of India festival 2024 and stumbled upon Mr. Chai’s stall—what a find! The folks there were super friendly and patient, which is pretty rare at such a busy event. I tried their vada pav, dabeli, and Irani chai, and honestly, everything was so delicious that even though I was full, I still wanted more. I’ve got nothing but love for these guys—such a great experience all around!!

The food at Mr. Chai is simply fantastic –each bite is bursting with authentic Indian street food flavour that will leave you craving more. From their perfectly spiced vada pav to their delightful dabeli, every dish is a must-try. If you're a fan of Indian street food or just looking for a delicious culinary adventure, Mr. Chai is a definite must-visit😋

One of the highlights of my visit was their Irani chai, a rich and creamy flavor! Paired with puff pizzas which were delicious. As for their Vada Pav and Bombay Sandwich, they were nothing short of perfection, authentic Mumbai flavors! And cold coffee took me back to indian cafe days!! It is definitely a must try

Ordered via DoorDash- Chilli Paneer Frankie, Paneer Tikka Pizza, Hara Bhara Kabab, Cardamom chai and Kesar- Elaichi Chai. For two people. Review:

The frankie is good but the paneer was not soft. The pizza had was topped with a lot of cheese. The kabab felt authentic. The chai was excellent.

Pros- it definitely feels homemade and resembles street food in India. Packaging is good. Overall, taste is good. The chai is exceptional.

Cons- quantity - the food is just snacks - it is not a full meal. So overall, it is not filling and the price for some (like the kabab) is similar to a more filling restaurant dish.

I will go back for the chai and also the hara...

Delicious food! Awesome customer service! What more do you want! We had peri-peri fries, vada pav, dabeli, cheese pizza and Irani chai. They all tasted great! My son especially loved the pizza. They took care of each and every small detail before delivery.
