I wanted to try Thai express again after a couple years of last eating from there. It was a bad decision and I shouldve got timmies instead for cheaper. Customer service was seldom and the chicken pad Thai I ordered was terrible. I can’t even finish my meal because the chicken was so overcooked, tough you can’t even break it with chopsticks and I was suprised by that for $14 odd dollars also during the gst break. There’s no lineup mostly at this location so why is the chicken not fresh? This franchise fell off and I didn’t know why until today. I will never be buying Thai express ever again at any location. Disappointed and a complete waste of peoples money. This food is not worth over 10-11$ for that quality. I can’t believe I lost $15 today. Complete disrespect to front line workers that work in the hospital trying to get lunch. Oh and also the young lady working the cash is very rude. Don’t even bother asking for peanuts or any other sauce or napkins because when I tried asking her for a chopstick she looked at me as if I asked for a loan or something. Very rude and I understand why there never any lineup.

Tom Yum soup is terrible. No taste, no vegetables just a little in the Vegetables Tom Yum. Why is vegetarian then?? Watch the video! You pay $16 for pasta and some flavorless water. Worst experience ever. She is also not nice at all 😔 Update: 2 min after my review we complained. The manager's attitude was just unacceptable. He was asking we don't see the vegetables? Seriously?? The soup was 95% pasta and 5% vegetables. I know usually there is lots of pasta too but c'mon. we did not ask for shrimp, beef etc because we wanted vegetables but not pasta soup. On top of that the taste is horrible. Nothing like Tom Yum Soup. End of the complaint they refunded.

Ordered the pat see ew. Had a lot of expectations. Overall it wasn’t bad but it was salty! My mom couldn’t even finish after a few bites. I ate about 1/3 of it and had to throw out the rest. And this is a hospital to have that much sodium on a simple noodle dish is not acceptable. I understand from other reviews food lacks taste. Adding soy sauce doesn’t make it more flavourful it just packs more salt. And for $17 (no combo) it’s expensive!

I am regular Thai Express customer. I always order Chicken Thai Friedrice Mild (pineapple tomato). I usually order at your branch at Finch Station And Sheppard Centre.

But now I ordered at Humber River Hospital Branch, before I go home after a very exhausting day. I ordered the same Chicken Thai Friedrice, paid, took my change but I just sat down for a minute and the cook already called my order, I asked why was it too quick? and the girl on the counter cant answer me, looks like theyre 30 mins away from closing the store thats why they didnt fried my rice properly, they should've just told me or just didnt take my order instead. Now that I am eating it, its like im eating a normal newly cooked rice from a rice cooker with soysauce. I am very disappointed with the service and the taste of my favorite food from Thai Express. I'm never going to order from that...

Overall experience was horrible. Woman/girl who was taking the orders was sitting there head down on her phone AND clipping her damn finger nails. I have been here when it first opened up but has taken an extreme downward spiral towards being probably one of the worst Thai Express locations in the city. Everything is watered down and they only throw in a couple peices of protein. Definitely not worth the charge for one. Not sure what they are paying for rent in a hospital but they must be getting hosed because their portion sizes went down as well. Either way they don't care because their customer base is tired, sick and overworked staff and patients or worried visitors who just want something to eat and you can tell they are taking full advantage of that fact....
