They didn't have physical menus, only an online-style ordering system on a tablet at the table*. While this seems like it would be convenient, that was not my experience. A few of my complaints -it felt really impersonal. -only one person can explore the menu and order at a time on the tablet, which can be annoying if some people take time to choose -because everything is split up, it's very difficult to compare similar items side-by-side; you have to click on an item, read the details and try to remember them while you look up other items. -it makes it difficult to ask questions about the menu since you have to flag the server down (who has little reason to stop by the table since they're not taking your order)

(On the positive side, it was nice to see a picture of each menu item.)

As for the food, it was average at best. Not worth coming back when there's so many other sushi options.

*They did offer me a QR code to get a menu on my phone, but I find phone menus equally unpleasant to deal with. Most places at least have a few physical menus available on request. Is that too...

I have officially been converted. I am 35 now, and I've spent my entire life completely ignoring any sushi restraunt that is not 'all you can eat'. I came here with my girlfriend after typing 'all you can eat sushi' into Yelp. I am glad Yelp's search algorithms suck and that I am far too lazy of a man to drive off in search of what I initially sought; as the difference in taste to every sushi I've ever had prior is as polarizing as NIGHT AND DAY. This restraunt not only houses THE BEST SUSHI I'VE EVER HAD, but also actual real wasabi! FUN FACT: If you've only had sushi in North America, chances are you've never had actual real wasabi! The vast majority of 'wasabi' served in North America is a mixture of horseradish, mustard, and food coloring--real wasabi is made from grating the root 'Wasabia Japonica' (Thanks Google!). Looking to look incredibly cultured on a date? Take your date here and tell them prior that you're taking them to an authentic Japanese restraunt! Score them...

Have eaten here 3 times this month, we live fairly nearby and never stopped in.

The place is so beautiful, small spot but cozy and so well designed. Atmosphere is so great.

But it’s the food - My job requires I spend time with jerks who have corporate credit cards. So I get to eat Sashimi across Canada and what I treasure most is CREATIVITY.

Sure it’s rare to get a steady supply of the more rare fish (sustainably)… and they have it …but the plating and thoughtful presentation of the superior product has been nothing short of a delight.

NO ONE does raw sweet shrimp ( at this price is the key thing, seriously it’s double for this downtown) and their Chirashi Don is underpriced.

They have a very diverse menu, the table next to us didn’t have any sushi! But they had kids and there’s enough variety for a family.

I’m currently finding meetings to hold here and literally in an Uber on the way there to meet my spouse. It’s our best...

Food was actually decent. Not necessarily the freshest I have ever had but pretty good quality. I took a star off for the VERY SLOW serving speed. The waiters are actually standing idle most of the time because the sushi chefs are slacking ( yep I watched them the whole time while it takes at least 30 mins for anything to appear on the table ). The service was actually good, the waiters are nice and they probably could not do anything about the sushi chefs’ wasting everybody’s time. And no, the restaurant is not busy at all with only 4 table seated. While I appreciate the reply from the restaurant, I want to point out that during my time there, only 4 tables are seated and no takeout were picked up. It is expected to have longer than usual wait time on weekends IF it is packed with people. However, taking at least half an hour for any table to have anything served is not acceptable.
