The Palms Jerk and Grill — Restaurant in Toronto

This place is a definite hidden gem. The price is great for the amount and quality. The chef and owner Uncle Trench is great. He treats you like family from the start.

I've had most of his dishes, his rice and peas is perfect always, his oxtail is always cooked perfectly and the flavor is exceptional.

His goat, fried chicken, stew chicken and BBQ chicken are always well cooked and tasty.

Do yourself a favor and stop in and see Uncle Ttench, try his food and you will be hooked.

Went and the food area was closed for some reason. I was hoping to get some food. The front area was open had I wanted to get some ice cream, which I'm sure its delicious, I'd had gotten that but alas, I was in the need for some good tasting food and was sadly let down. When Im getting Jamaican food, I want the pomp of a roadside cook up and the quality of a grandparents recipes- welcoming, simple and delicious. That is what you get here. Best salt fish and ackee Ive had in Canada (they actuallyhad 'food'!), great oxtail, very fair prices. Can't wait to go back!
