Edit: downgraded to 1 star but would put zero if possible. Been to this location twice today to try to deposit into my small business account. Two waits of over 15mins to not get any service while bumped for other customers. The service time is horrible! Half of my lunch hour gone for nothing
What is the point of the business window if you are going to use it to have clients opening accounts, ready through documents and signing documents while other business customers wait in line on their lunch breaks to not be served? Shouldn’t that be done off to the side or in an office while another teller serves business clients who only have a few minutes in their breaks? As well today while, the person in front of me and myself waited, the other tellers continue to pull from the regular line, people who arrived after the two business clients who are waiting in line for 10-15 minutes. If there business clients are not priority why have two separate lines?? It is very frustrating.
Previously when I have been at the business teller I also asked if I could schedule a meeting with an advisor about a small business loan I was told the person who does that was on lunch and they took down my information and they would get back to me right away. Months have gone by and I have never received a phone call? This is service to TD?
I have tried to book an appointment online, sorry the website is down for maintenance…… sorry something went wrong call us (to wait on hold for over an hour) or visit your local branch, which I did as described above to get zero service!
I have sent a secure message through easy web only to have it not read at all and received a canned message which answers absolutely none of my questions in my message and tells me to call or visit a branch (absolutely useless)
There is no point to loyalty anymore. I have been a customer at TD bank for 26 years to only get charged fee after fee, while new customers get $300 into you chequing or savings when you switch to TD (on their existing clients money ie fees). Get a chance at a TV if you switch, at the expense of existing clients. Don’t have money in your account, that’s a fee. Have money in an account but under $3000 well that’s a fee too. Using you access card more than often because your out of town or on a vacation, that’s a fee too.
My wife had her credit card compromised, did TD tell her, nope. They just sent another credit card (a few months after sending a card because her previous card expired) making it very confusing what was going on until my wife called them and only then did she find out her card was compromised. And guess what both her compromised card and the new card are both on her account so now it shows her debt as twice as much as she actually has because TD can’t figure out how to fix it. And what does TD say? They say trust us you don’t actually owe double the amount, very reassuring as it has shown ever since and still shows months and months later. If a credit check is done is it actually not there? Who knows.
TD Bank is not a bank it’s a business and only TD’s profits matter not the customers money or servicing the customer promptly or correctly. If you are thinking of making the switch to TD I hope you see this review as a warning and make sure you check out a credit union because that’s what we are going to do and leave this mess of a...
Read moreI recently visited the TD Bank branch at St. Clair and Jane in Toronto, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of phenomenal. The reason for this unforgettable visit? None other than Mariana, the incredibly talented and professional teller who transformed a simple transaction into a truly remarkable customer service experience.
From the moment I stepped into the branch, Mariana's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel welcome and at ease. She skillfully guided me through the process of depositing money into my account, ensuring that every detail was meticulously handled with the utmost care and efficiency.
To my surprise, the positive experience didn't end there. Just when I thought my interaction with Mariana was complete, she went above and beyond the call of duty. She personally called me to inform me that there had been an error with the bill counting machine, and that my deposit was actually larger than initially recorded. Her honesty, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly awe-inspiring.
Mariana's exceptional service has set a new gold standard for what I expect from banking professionals. It's not an exaggeration to say that she is the best teller in Toronto! The TD Bank branch at St. Clair and Jane should be incredibly proud to have her as part of their team. I am certain that her dedication, expertise, and outstanding communication skills will continue to delight and impress customers for years to come.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a top-notch banking experience, look no further than the TD Bank branch at St. Clair and Jane. And if you're fortunate enough to be assisted by Mariana, you can rest assured that you're in the best of hands. Thanks to her incredible service, I can confidently say that I will be a loyal TD Bank...
Read moreI have been a customer of TD Bank for more than 15 years, but this is the first time I have encountered such an attitude as today. I went to the branch and was simply amazed at the unprofessionalism and indifference of the staff.
Tailer Tiego Santos seemed to have no idea what he was doing. To all my questions he answered the same thing: "I have a computer, I can't do anything". It felt like he just wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible.
I asked for a manager. The manager, Cassandre Simoes, instead of looking into the situation, said literally the following: "We can't help you with anything. If you're not happy with something, change banks."
Later, Joe Cabogoy, the Branch Manager, confirmed in the same manner, "We can't help you. If you want, switch to another bank. It's your right."
This attitude towards customers is not just disappointing, it's unacceptable. I did decide to take their advice and have already opened an account with RBC where I have been given attention and respect.
TD, to lose a loyal customer after 15 years because of basic disrespect is a failure. I do not recommend this...
