The Vegan Home — Restaurant in Toronto

The Vegan Home is absolutely delicious! The menu is housed within a Pakistani restaurant with options for everyone, making this the perfect place to go with a group of friends where everyone, vegan or not, can find something that they like. I really loved the onion bhaji, they were so light and flavourful. I also ordered the tofu biryani, and it was delicious, and had a few extra garnishes and spices that made it unique from other biryanis I've had. The food was made so quickly and the menu has so many things I want to come back to try....

The Vegan Home turned out to be one of the best surprises I've experienced in quite some time. Looking for a change from our usual go-to, Planta, we decided to try something new based on a quick Google search. The Vegan Home caught our attention, and I'm so glad we gave it a chance.

I had previously given 5 stars as the food is great. However I had terrible experience with service when I had a genuine food safety issue and had to call in. The person who answered kept changing their story - but didn't forward me to the manager as he/she wasn't in. I asked if the manager could call me back, and while I was speaking, she said bye and hung up....
