We recently celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at BANCAN Kitchen, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The organization and attention to detail by the team were absolutely exceptional.

From the moment we booked, the owner & staffs made everything feel easy and stress-free. They were responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. On the day of the event, everything ran smoothly — the space was beautifully set up, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting for all our guests.

The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly timed. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the dishes! It truly felt like a celebration, not just because of the occasion, but because of the care and professionalism BANCAN put into hosting it.

Thank you to the entire team for helping make our first anniversary so special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to host a memorable event in a well-organized and...

August 15, 2022 My friend brought me here for my birthday today - chicken vindaloo with garlic rice and onion bahjis! So good!

May 27, 2021 First time ordering from this restaurant and very impressed! Ordered through Skip the Dishes and they even accommodated my last minute change to make everything spicy!

Delicious boneless chicken biryani, onion bahji and chicken pakora!!

Will most definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

MAY 30, 2021 Went with my Bangladeshi friend today so he could also try this delicious food.

Today we had muttar pilau, onion bahji and lamb vindaloo, which we took to eat at a nearby park. He was not disappointed.

The lamb was tender and the sauce beautifully spiced. I hope this restaurant stays around for a while.

Ignore the 1 star reviews. Some people are just never happy. I find it odd that most of them offer nothing constructive, and they have either NO other reviews, or the places they HAVE reviewed are all...

I’ve had Bengali food at both high-end and budget-friendly restaurants all over the GTA, but this place is hands down the worst. Their so-called beef curry is nothing more than chunks of beef drowned in a bland, watery tomato slosh—completely lacking depth, flavor, or any resemblance to proper Bengali cooking. Then came the beef kala bhuna, which was an even bigger insult. Whoever decided to throw capsicum into kala bhuna clearly has no idea what they’re doing. The dish tasted like a cheap stir-fry from a low-grade Chinese takeout spot—oily, confused, and totally unauthentic. For $16 per dish, I expected at least a basic understanding of Bengali cuisine, but what I got was a disaster on a plate. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects Bengali food. This place is an overpriced joke.
