May 2023 Updated * The past 2 weeks I've been coming here once a week to get steep tea but it seems that this order falls short in staff's mind (being ignored) in filling my order every time I order it. This happened 2 times and both times I had to actually ask them for my steep tea while other coffee orders are being filled after my order. I can see the steep pot sitting on the warmer so I know my order hasn't been done. Today (8:50am) I decided to give it another chance, boy I was wrong to try. It was pretty busy, 8 people in line and 1 taking orders. As the line slowly moved, I can see 1 person getting a refund for an order that this location can not fill and staff said that this item was deleted for this location but seems that there was some error in the system and pricing on the app was not the same as in person. Also during this time I heard someone ordering steep tea (large double-double). Good, its a test to see how long it will take. He also ordered a breakfast sandwich. I don't know how good the pickup area is but mobile app pickups and hot/cold prepared food same area on the left. Ordering line in the middle and to the right drinks pickup. So if you order how this guy did, walk to the left to get his breakfast sandwich and then walk right, cross the ordering line to get his drink.. So I see him standing beside me while I am still waiting in line to order and I am thinking I should tell him that I always had to wait for my steep tea but I kept my mouth shut. I can see the steep tea pot behind the order counter sitting on top on the warmer. No one has touched it since he had ordered. They had to ask him what he ordered so that means the drink order was cleared from the ordering screen (bad). So now, I decided maybe I should order coffee. And just as I was going to order. Beeping from the ovens happen and the guy taking orders steps away and goes to the kitchen? I thought he was going to come back but no... I am standing there waiting to order and no one replaces him for 1 minute. This guy orginally works in the kitchen but was covering to take orders but never said anything to anyone to take over taking orders... This place is still so disorganized, slow and there is no real communication between staff. 4 years later, my review is still bad for this location. The only reason I come here is because its on my way to work so it should be convinent. But I am really considering just black listing this location from my mind. Tim Hortons, don't bother to contact me to discuss my experience here. I've already wirtten it above...
2019 review * I know it opened a few weeks ago but the staff needs to pick up a bit. Coffee, iced coffee and donuts are as it should taste. But, the egg in the breakfast sandwiches taste aweful sorry to say and the hash browns are just room temp and bit over cooked.. like I said, this place needs some...
Green Short Haired Lady who I assumed was the manager definitely needs to get fired or reprimanded for her unprofessionalism and discrimination towards myself and my partner. We went in Tim's bringing outside because the restaurant itself did not have tables.
I bought an iced capp to have with our food. She told my partner whilst I was ordering no outside food was allowed. I was unaware of this until I returned. When I settled in, she told the both of us there was no food allowed in a mean tone. She definitely gave us attitude "See, I work here!" whilst lifting her sweater up" when it wasn't necessary. She was saying to her friend beside her "We can just eat on the street".
At the end of the day instead of having an attitude she could've said it more nicely and I would've had no issue eating anywhere else if needed. (We've done it a couple of times but had no issues until now). She was acting like it was a major issue when it didn't need to be and was commenting about us in general. I am sorry for anyone who comes her way to just receive the same treatment we got.
She needs to get an attitude check! If this is what passes as acceptable management/employee standards, I would be disappointed with this level of customer service and wouldn't recommend visiting this particular Tim's just because of her. She definitely made a bad reputation for herself and the...
Read moreI bought two 20-packs of Timbits as a special end-of-year treat for my students. I asked for one box to be a single flavour, and the other box to be a mix of three flavours. Simple enough. But when I got to work and opened the boxes, I realized the mixed box only had 15 Timbits, five of each flavour.
I’m not sure how something like this keeps happening, but it’s really not that hard to count to 20. I’m only writing this review because it’s not the first time this has happened at this location. It’s frustrating to be short-changed, especially when all it would’ve taken was a bit more care and attention from whoever was filling the order.
What should’ve been a small but fun gesture for my students turned into a disappointing experience because of a lack of thought from an employee who didn’t follow a very basic request. I hope this gets addressed, because it’s discouraging to keep paying for a full order and...
