Slow. Always out of items. Poor service, no polite greetings even when you are polite to them. This could be the worst Tim Horton's in Toronto. Avoid.
Update Jan 9, 2022: This being the most convenient location for me I still go there against my better judgement, but today's experience really took the cake.
I am a regular patron of this location.
I've gone to this location for several years now and each time I go it feels like the level of service gets worse and worse. It doesn't matter what time of day you go there the service is usually slow. Even when you're the only person in the drive-thru.
The experience I had today really makes me question how this location is able to keep flying the Tim's banner. Their customer service is almost zero.
I went through the drive-thru this morning around 8:30am - Jan 9 - and the order taker at the speaker was pleasant and nice to deal with. When I got to the window my whole experience changed.
The girl opened the window and barked at me "How are you paying?"
I responded politely and said "debit, but give me a minute to get my card please". She rolled her eyes at me as if I am inconveniencing her or something.
Seconds later she said "$4.05" nothing else, just the amount due. I'm still looking for my Tims rewards card at this point as it's literally been a grand total of 10 seconds and my whole experience has been ruined already.
I locate my Tims reward card and she scanned it only to bark at me again "$2". I paid, collected my coffees and said to her "you should really work on being a bit more pleasant, it would be nice". She rolled her eyes at me, said "yeah ok" and closed the window without a second thought.
This is an ongoing and worsening situation at this location and it's not the first time I've been treated this way at the drive-thru. Normally the order taker at the speaker is rude and just trying to rush you through and get away from the interaction.
I can't really say more than I have without getting even more angry over the service at this location.
If this is the new normal for Tim Hortons service I really might have to rethink where I buy my coffees when I am...
Read moreMy rating is a tough one for me because the front line staff are pretty awesome.
If it weren't for them the rating would be a 1 star.
I'm a privately contracted psw and one of my clients loves Tim Hortons. As does my own son, 29, autistic.
We come here 3-4 times a week
The front line staff, whether in store or drive through, are incredible.
They recognize us and understand certain accommodations without the need to ask
However
Management of this location is a different story.
Do not expect to be able to use the Tims app/digital gift card to pay for purchases.
Since before Covid they've said "it's not working, we don't know when it'll be fixed" ,🙄 ( it's been 3 years!)
Product selection is EXTREMELY limited and highly unpredictable
and well then this today.....
The pic I'm sharing is from us waiting, as told by the server, by the garbage bins ( 38 mins, twice getting out of the car, walking to the drive through window and asking "um where is it" all for an English muffin and a chocolate chip muffin) @timhortons ( Keele and St Clair). This bird kept flying up, sitting on both driver and passenger mirrors. It is obviously used to people being stuck in this corner , waiting interminably.
There is another Tim Hortons 5 mins away on St Clair just west of Runnymede. It unfortunately doesn't have drive through, but you can use the Tim Hortons app to pre-purchase/pay at the counter, and they have a full selection at all times. There is also a Tim Hortons at Keele and Rogers, with drive through, although traffic there is nasty at all times of day, and one at Keele and Bloor ( no drive through, limited parking, limited selection)
Unless you happen to be right beside this particular Tim's, I'd detour and go to one...
Read moreI was absolutely disgusted with the service and poor attitude I received this evening. The crew working at this location this evening did not communicate with each other, leaving me standing there for nearly 10 minutes waiting for my bagel. The young lady gave my bagel to another customer who opened it and poked it with his fingers before giving it back to her and then she gave it to me. When I told her the other customer had touched it and asked that she make a new one, she slammed it into the garbage and seemed to have a problem with making a new one. I asked why she was so upset and she told me it wasn't her job to make the bagels and that whoever takes the order is the one who is supposed to make it. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and she informed me that they were not allowed to give a name or number and that I would have to call head office. I know it's just a bagel, but the poor experience and attitude was really disappointing. If you have a lot of patience and low expectations, eat here. Otherwise, there is another Tim Horton's in the Stockyards Village plaza that has much more friendly and...
