Uptown Wings — Restaurant in Toronto

If you’re a wings lover, Uptown Wings is a must-visit spot — especially if you’re lucky enough to be served under the watch of Harry, the manager. I recently ordered their Barbeque Cream wings along with a bunch of other flavours, and let me tell you — every bite was absolutely fire! The wings were perfectly cooked, generously sauced, and packed with flavour. But what really elevated the entire experience was the hospitality and attention to detail from Harry.

From the moment I stepped in, Harry made sure everything was smooth. He personally checked in on the order, ensured everything was fresh, and even recommended a few flavours based on my preferences. You can instantly tell he genuinely cares about the customer experience and takes pride in the food being served. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate and attentive in the fast food space, and it really made all the difference.

Because of Harry, Uptown Wings felt less like a quick bite and more like a place I’d want to come back to again and again. Hats off to him for his hospitality and top-tier service. Places need more people like Harry. Will definitely be...

TL;DR Area can seem dodgy. Onion rings are flavourless. Saucing on tenders as pretty good. Tenders alone were flavourless but decent quality.

Location: It's in a bit of a sketchier area but I didn't have any problems while there. Parked in the plaza parking lot without an issue and picked up my food for take out. It's a small little store so you won't be eating there but it's designed with effort and you can tell by the quality of the store.

Food: Onion Rings (2 out of 5) - Some how have absolutely no flavour, not even fried taste. They are a good size, but not nearly enough for 6$ but maybe worth it in quantity wise for like 4$. Cooked to a nice crisp

Chicken Tenders (4 out of 5) - Tenders are about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide. I got the honey garlic and cajun flavours. Flavour was decent, slightly spicy, covered relatively well (tossed). The chicken tender itself was basic, with not much flavour alone, maybe a store bought one but it was pretty tender with no fat or nerves.

I've been here twice - both times the food hit. Both times I got a pound of wings with their #3 sauce (I think it's #3, it's the honey garlic with sweet chilli sauces mixed) ... so good! First time I got fries with Mac and cheese bites - very good. Second time I got mac n cheese ... yum!! Someone said their mac n cheese isn't good ... to describe it, to me it tastes like a white cheddar mac n cheese which I really like.

The first time I tried 2 of their desserts - a creme brule and a slice of white chocolate strawberry cheesecake. They were both good.

I'll be going back this weekend for my cheat meal lol. Very good customer service as well.
