You know Wendy's has been a good place for a long time for people to get food but you know it's also supposed to be clean. And it seems that Wendy's has changed quite a bit and not for the better. First of all I don't understand why you have to throw the ketchup packets on the food that's open such as fries or nuggets or things like that why don't you place those things at the bottom of the bag and then place the food in the bag so that the food stays clean.
So I went to Wendy's and I ordered myself a burger, nuggets and some fries. And the packets of ketchup were dumped on my fries and nuggets, and they were filthy to the point that they were stuck together with whatever it was that was dried up on them as I separated them it was like glue or ick, slime! And this was dropped on my fries and nuggets.
This makes me think twice about buying from Wendy's anymore. And other friends and family are also mentioning the same things to me, as they've experienced situations like this... as I'm sure many other customers that come to you for food are experiencing. On top of that we get attitude from your servers. You ask them for something, and they get it wrong. And then they complain to you about correcting them. This is not all employees. But there are many others that can do the job right out there working at Wendy's. And in regards to the app. You have offers and rewards, but then when you try and use them... you scan it and you're told it didn't work and you can't use it, and therefore you have to buy it at full price. why offer these things, if you can't have them working properly. It's understandable that sometimes things have issues with technology and such. But also you should have experienced employees and a managers on hand that can solve the situation in the moment, and not say to your customers. oh well you have to buy it at full price because there's nothing I can do.
But most of all the cleanliness is very important please fix this. Teach your employees to place the packets at the bottom of the bag, or in a separate bag from the food that is open and exposed. And you shouldn't have dirty packets anyway. But just be cautious at least and place them in a way that it will not contaminate the food. Thanks
P.S. the photos don't show very clearly that I've added of the ketchup packages. But it was gross to see the slime ick when separating them and also this transferred to my fries and nuggets which I ended up throwing away as I was too far to go back to...
Read moreWent through the drive thru yesterday and it was the worst experience ever. Ordered a Dave's Single with cheese combo for my daughter and the duo wrap classic for me. Asked for no mayo, no onions on the burger. Paid, got our order. My daughter checked her burger and there was a stripe of mayo on the bun which was mixed with the ketchup. They use a spoon to mix the 2. When I asked for no mayo, I said, she has an allergy. So I parked off to the side and walked back to the window. They asked what was wrong. I told the girl, "there is mayo on the burger". "No there's not was the response". I repeated myself so she told me to come into the store. So I hobbled over with my cane and waited about 5 mins for them to come to the counter. What looked like a possible manager (wearing a different shirt), came over with another girl. She opened up the bun at the other end and said, "there is no mayo". I said, "check the other side. My daughter nor myself are blind and we know what mayo looks like". They kept arguing with me while the rest of the food got cold. They eventually gave in and said they would make a new burger. Tell me why would I bring it back if there wasn't a problem? No apologies. Totally rude. Very unprofessional. We got home and I took a bite out of my 1st cold chicken wrap and it had a strange taste and it felt kind of slimy. I took it apart and the lettuce was going off. It was limp, slimy and terrible to the taste. So much for Dave Thomas's name. They apparently also use fresh ingredients. I wouldn't have given a rodent that lettuce. Betcha they wouldn't serve their relatives that crap! Thoroughly disgusted. I will...
Read moreHORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Restaurant will never return to this location again I wouldn’t even give it one star
My mom is in a wheelchair and the doors from the street are non-accessible they have accessibility doors that come from the back parking lot for wheelchair individuals who drive!
Like that makes sense! Clearly the idiots and individuals who came up with this concepts a) a) know nothing about individuals with disability and two are too stupid to try it out to see if it actually is functionable
I don’t know about you but most individuals in wheelchairs do not drive their own cars so the way that they have the set up is not accessible for individuals with disabilities and I’m disgusted that Wendy’s as a restaurant chain would allow this kind situation to happen
it was also very difficult and Extremely dangerous to get my mom in the non accessible front doors
How was an individual with disabilities who wants to be independent could possibly go out to a restaurant like this chain.
The restaurant is small and narrow and difficult to maneuver especially when you’re in a power wheelchair
They also had no air conditioning in the restaurant yesterday which was the hottest day of the year so far they did not provide any explanation or understanding to any individuals the service and servers were chaotic and non-communicative towards one another it was an absolute chaos show waiting half an hour for a salad and a baked potato
Just disgusted in this restaurant and the staff.
Couldn’t pay me enough to return to this restaurant...
