This is absolutely mind-boggling. I have never written a review for this Tim’s but after seeing how many other people have such bad experiences I thought I’d share too.
Maybe on Monday or Tuesday I stopped by, and will more than likely be the last time I do. Every. Single. Time. I enter that restaurant, I can’t hear myself think. There’s always either an obnoxiously loud noise, or a foreign language being YELLED out by employees who are standing right next to each other, in a primarily english speaking town, serving primarily english speaking customers, my expectations are to be hearing talk about preparations, food, packaging, brewing, etc… instead I hear, yelling, laughter and foreign language.
It’s just as hard to find a place to sit as it is placing an order, tables are filthy and filled with garbage. Spent 30 minutes sitting at a table one morning waiting for an employee to clean off the table to my right, and during that entire time not one even looked over, by the time I had left it was still there. Mind you, maybe 2 people came in during the time I sat down, and walked out, and there were more than 3 employees in the back.
On top of this, I’ve encountered SEVERAL employees that don’t even know english well, how are these people being hired to assist in the public if they can’t understand an order? I can order an everything bagel with cream cheese and a double double, and I’ll be handed a box of Timbits and a lemonade quencher instead.
The whole place is a joke, the owners should be ashamed of the store they’ve ‘cared’ for ever so much, they should either ACTUALLY do something, hire employees that know what their doing, or just sell it, because clearly they don’t care about customers. I
f they really did care, they wouldn’t continue to post links as replies and would actually take action about these issues:)
EDIT:
I thought I’d add this video from April here too, just to make sure others know where theyre food is being placed around before ordering in a...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews (everyone can have bad days and food service workers have a lot to deal with, I hate to make things worse). However, I’m … concerned?
I ordered a grilled chicken bowl and informed them it was because I’m allergic to the bread found in other bowls. I then watched the same employee making it wear the same disposable plastic gloves for multiple different orders (including bread). Never changed them, crumbs everywhere. I wouldn’t have said anything even then, but she then touched/used the cash register with the exact same gloves on before continuing to handle food. Just … touched everything. Gloves were useless. There’s acceptable risk of cross contamination and then there’s, well, direct contamination.
If you have any food allergies and/or compromised immune system, I would try another Tim Horton’s nearby. Even if what you’re ordering doesn’t have your allergy in it, not changing gloves between tasks/orders means it’s accidental inclusion isn’t unlikely. I’ve sometimes gotten a bit sick when ordering here via Drive-Thru and brushed it off when I shouldn’t have.
I’m sure this employee had her reasons, I’m not writing this as an accusation. I won’t name her. But I hope food safety will manage to improve over time....
Read moreFor the most part, I do like Tim Hortons. But I’ve been meaning to do this review. On a few occasions, I had gone on and order a pepperoni pizza. However, it comes with dressing of your choice. I usually get the ranch which I always ask for when I get a pepperoni pizza. There are a few occasions where I wasn’t given my ranch dressing the first time I left to go, but the second time I went up to the counter to ask and explain that I had ordered and bought a ranch dressing . One other occasion that I had been in there, I usually order a peach quencher with my pizza and when I got my order back, I went over and I was about to drink my peach quencher, and there was a fly in it. Another day that I was there, I had a male take my order and I wasn’t finished telling him what I wanted and he was cutting me off saying are you done yet or in some other way dismissing me, which I didn’t appreciate. Sometimes too when I come into Tim Hortons to have a lunch break, I go to the washroom and the washrooms are a bit filthy too with the...
