Numerous occasions I did not receive what I paid for, but no big deal as accidents happen. For my daughter’s birthday, we ordered 1 cheese and 2 pepperoni pizzas. Once home, we discovered that once again the order was incorrect. I called to ask for a note to be put on my account to hopefully prevent this in the future. The lady was kind and offered me a credit for the 2 pepperoni pizzas. About a week later I didn’t feel like making dinner. An older man that is usually working(manager or owner) answered and proceeded to claim no credit existed and they wouldn’t have given me one anyways. I had zero interest in creating a fuss over $25 worth of pizza, so I told him I would just pay for 2 pepperoni pizzas and please add the usual cheese pizza on as well. I get there…he forgot one of the pepperoni pizzas.
Instead of apologizing and saying there must have been a mix up, or even the slightest attempt at behaving like a professional, he went right into accusing me of lying about what I ordered. He insisted that I never mentioned anything about pepperoni pizzas even though he knew to make one of them. He then raised his voice so everyone in the room could hear and stated that the credit didn’t exist and I am lying to get free pizza. This is right after he stated that there was no mention of pepperoni pizzas when I called and while I had my card in hand to pay for the pizzas.
I can understand mistakes. With lots of pizza orders, mistakes are bound to happen, but to accuse me, the customer, of lying, and proceeding to yell at me with a room full of people because he doesn't want to acknowledge his own mistake is unprofessional at best. I tried being pleasant and explained the facts but he kept cutting me off to argue with me.
Eventually, I just walked out. Silly thing, my phone records all calls. I would have been happy to replay the call giving the credit or the call when I ordered the not 1, but 2 pepperoni pizzas. I can only hope a surgeon has removed whatever was up his butt that day.
In all seriousness, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment. If this is their level of service face to face, who knows what he is doing behind closed doors. Another shameful business in what would otherwise be a beautiful and kind...
Read moreUnfortunately the pizza was not a delight. Family had eaten their pizza a few times prior and been very satisfied, as the pepperoni had not been hidden under the cheese, which makes for soggy dough and greasy, undercooked pepperoni that causes digestive issues, as had been experienced at Ricardos. 💩 This time was like Ricardo’s though. 🤷🏼♀️ We were told it’s always made like that…not true. We would have requested it on top had we known, or not ordered pepperoni. The server asked what we’d like to do, if we wanted something else made, however we didn’t want to wait and I didn’t want to see food go in the garbage. I was willing to eat it despite the dissatisfaction, and another member of the party ate a bit because they were hungry. One was left hungry though, unable to eat it even after removing the pepperoni. In hindsight we should have just sent it back and just eaten the salad and found something else somewhere else. I rarely eat out with the prices and lack of quality of food and/or service. This one added to being off the list.
Just look online at images of pizza with pepperoni. It’s on the top. This is what I’ve been used to for my entire life…over 60 years. Why is it different here?...
Read moreLovely spot for big groups or to take the kids. They are big supporters of the community and the staff is friendly and helpful. We've been many times but, on the most recent occasion, we had just spent the morning in emerge and needed sone lunch. My youngest (13 months) decided to scream bloody murder and my eldest (4 years) ate suuuuuper slowly. All the servers chatted with the kids as they went by and no one commented about the decibel level. The high chairs are very convenient and, although there is no change table, the washroom has a large counter that easily accommodates a diaper change. Service was quick and lunch was delicious - just what we needed! The kids ate free, since it was Tuesday, and they were happy to pack up a dessert to go for my 4 year old. They rang us through promptly and got us back on the road and...
