Service was not good. I asked if they had any vegan options-she handed me the menu. I asked about the potatoes, and was told they are available on Saturdays only. I ordered a decaf cappuccino. I saw her making the cappuccino from the main coffee bean dispenser. I asked her if it was decaf, and she said "oh right", then used different beans. I ordered dry toast, it came looking buttered. I said I didn't want butter: she took it back. She then came back with the same toast a few minutes later and said it was a vegan margarine as she pushed it back into my hand. Perhaps she didn't know what dry toast is. I asked for dry toast, but didn't want to argue about it. When I finished placing my order, I noticed a vegan carrot cake on the chalk board-that would have been nice to know before I ordered. Why so chaotic for an early Saturday morning in Digby, NS? We got there within 10 minutes of it opening and 3/4 of the table were already full. Not one person was greeted or directed, were we to order and then seat ourselves? Were we to wait to be seat? Seat ourselves and be served? We would know had any of the staff taken one moment to direct flow.
We entered to order a coffee and maybe breakfast sandwich to go. Breakfast menu was no where to be found. Lunch menu posted but unable to order until 11:00am.
We waited about 15 minutes to order behind a group of two other people, and in that time more and more people kept cramming themselves in behind us, no social distancing.

My husband and I live on the Digby Neck we had shopping to do it was lunch time we had been wanting to try the food here always busy. We were welcome when we walked in sit where you like..our watrese was 'AMAZING 'watching her serve others she was polite smiling attractive people asking what is good she said everything but then she picked out her favorites.
