Armando's Pizza - Essex — Restaurant in Town of Essex

Ordered a 15pc chicken dinner yesterday while still in Windsor. The person on phone said 20-30min so took my time drove to Essex got to the window and the lady said sorry where behind so will be another 15 min. No problem I said and waited. 30 min later she says there just packing it up and will be just a few more min., 20 min later she hands me the bag. I get to my destination, open the bag and everything is covered in gravy. Mind you my son held the bag so nothing was disturbed. Gravy container was destroyed and everything was covered in it.The chicken was very dark (way over cooked) and dry but hot. The fries where cold and hard, not even edible with ketchup. The coleslaw was just a small portion not enough for all 4 people to have some. I recommend going elsewhere for broasted chicken as this was a total waste of 63$. It was advertised for 50$ but I paid extra for half white meat. I had never been here before and I will not be back. I would not have cared much if it was just for my self but I bought for my family to enjoy and I felt terrible bringing such a disappointing dinner to them. As well as being over...

The food is always amazing when i buy dinner from here. My last order was the same, they did get it a bit wrong by adding onions to my panzerotti but not a huge deal I still ate it lol I would fully recommend them. They are typically very busy at dinner time, last time I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my order so when they give you the time maybe add 5-10 min to it so you don't have to wait outside the store in your car. I love that they have a drive thru to pick up your order, so much easier. They have super nice staff the gentleman I talked to was apologetic and thanked me for being patient during their busy time. Overall i haven't had a bad experience with them yet, but I do feel bad for anyone working in the food industry right now... some customers were not happy and said so when they were waiting for their food beside my vehicle, I think everyone needs to remember that we are in a pandemic and if you don't like a service then make your own food at home and quit...

This Armandos location is very hit and miss. Sometimes the pizza is ok. Tonight the pizza was very poor. Very sparse toppings....mostly it was crust and sauce. Very little cheese or other toppings that I paid for.

The Essex Armandos is mot even close to the original Armandos on Walker Rd. The original Armandos on Walker is always consistently good.

I don't think that will order from the Essex location again.

I thought I would try this pizza again.

It will never be like the original Armando's Pizza on Walker Rd in Windsor Ontario. The toppings were sparse. Very little cheese on the pizza. I can't believe that this is part of the Armando's franchise. Obviously the owners of the franchise don't care about their reputation or what kind of food their franchises are producing. I will never order...
