We ate here twice while in Shelburne and those meals were by far the best we had during our two day visit. The first evening we both had the Indian seafood curry, and it was amazing! The flavours were authentic. The seafood was fresh and there was lots of it. The rice was perfectly cooked. Our second meal here was the seafood tacos. Once again the flavours were outstanding the seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. It is a pub, so the atmosphere is not one of fine dining. That being said, the seating is comfortable and the staff and owner are so friendly. Highly recommend!

Lots of yummy seafood to choose from on the menu. Service was good. We didn't wait too long for our orders. It was quiet the day we visited this restaurant. Our server was friendly and the parking was street parking. The decor is very historic as is the building with all its old crown mouldings. Lots to look at and seating was comfortable. It was a bit dark inside. Close to lots of sight seeing locations in Shelburne County.

About a dozen of the 1974 graduating class of SRHS met for a fun supper at the Ship's Galley. What a fun time and the food was amazing as usual. I always order a two piece fish and chips and bring a piece home for later. I forgot to take a picture of my plate but I did get one of my take home piece with the homemade tarter sauce. Thank you for a delicious and fun evening.

Based solely on the weight of the positive reviews, we chose to dine here the other evening.

If the food here merits its high star rating, and this is the basis by which excellence is defined, then anything above cafeteria food should merit a Michelin Star elsewhere in Shelburne.

The food that we ordered didn't come anywhere near matching the lowest industry standard, and this also extended to the level of service as well.

In the present post-Covid climate, and as a businessman myself, this restaurant is digging its own grave if it doesn't alter its standards, as they're leaving the door wide open for the competition to enter the market.

Even a microwaved potato cooked at home is a step up from what we received here the...

We (me, my wife, son and daughter in law) actually planned to eat at the Mr Fish in Shelburne. Unfortunately, they don't open on Mondays and Tuesdays so we opted for the Ships Galley. Turned out we made a great choice. It's near the waterfront, close to the center of town with lots of parking on the street. There are also a lot of small free to use parking lots sprinkled around town. The service was fast and friendly, the food was excellent.. we had Clams and Chips, fish and chips, and chicken straps with chips. All delicious. Nobody left hungry. The prices were pretty good. The restaurant itself is located in what I would call a "heritage building", very quaint, but comfortable. Overall a very...

The place looks really tired, not much care went into decorating some twenty years ago. A coat of paint and decluttering (cleaning) would go a long way. The sign outside says ‘family friendly ‘ yet the ‘changing table’ is a dirty cushion hung next to the toilet(eww!) there is no table so you will need to use the floor with that dirty cushion to change your baby! The food was mediocre, it took us 20 mins to get our drink, after I got up and asked for it again and the place wasn’t busy. I had the steak ale pie and hubby had the butter chicken. The ale pie was okay, but the chicken...
