A&W Canada — Restaurant in Town of St. Paul

I legitimately stopped going here. I do LOVE me a good teen burger, but every time I am there I wait for a very long time for my food. On a regular basis about half of the dining area is "closed off" with the chairs flipped up on the tables; as if the place was being cleaned-but it's almost always like that. Especially in the evenings. The fries are consistently soggy and cold. It's always busy with seniors/farmers in the morning and that must be their staple for customers because of the probably 8-10 times I've visited this location most of them were disappointing. I've dined at other A&W's and it isn't this way (minus the fries-the "new" fries are not good in my opinion).

Update. Feb 24th/2025. After years of boycotting this location in particular, I gave it another chance (trying to keep my dollars in Canada rather than an American chain). I ordered (by drive thru) a double teen burger, with onion rings and a coke. Got my order quickly and hit the road. Opened the bag on the highway to find fries instead of onion rings. I want to like this location sooo bad, but they keep giving me so many...

Got to the restaurant at 9:30ish and all the doors were locked. There's a tiny sign on the door that says between 8-10pm they are drive through only, so we got back in the car and went through the drive through. Ordered 4 chicken burgers, 2 lettuce wrap burgers, and an uncle burger combo. Had to pull around to the parking lot to wait 5 mins for the the chicken (yay for fresh), and when it was brought out to us i checked the bags and one of the chicken burgers had a big patch of MOLD on the bun - there is no way they couldn't have seen that!!!! Went and banged on the door to tell them, they 'remade it' but brought a new one out in 1 minute (not the 5 it took the first time)...

got back to our hotel to eat and when i pulled out the lettuce wrap burger there was a bug on the lettuce.

I ordered my food was not even don’t paying and the cashier Aris was already in the cook window yelling swearing at him calling him slow and demanding that he cooks faster, I got my food within 3 minutes as I was seated eating I watch the other front end person, Aris and the drive through tenant in the cooks window doing the same thing yelling at him freaking out over fried item needing 6 minutes to cook swearing at him, they have no understanding on food safe cooking no and are encouraging him to cause food poisoning and the work place harassment I saw. Completely unacceptable and I have reported what I witnessed to there Head office. This was all done in front of...
