The staff are normally quite friendly, but we go there almost daily and our orders have been consistently wrong almost every day for well over a month now. I fear the owners are too cheap to hire enough staff, or maybe the training for the staff is terrible.
I won't blame the staff, because I'm sure they aren't paid enough for perfection, but the owner sure makes a lot, so that's who gets my blame for this. We will be spending our daily $10-$20 at McDonalds and your other competition moving forward because of this.
The mistakes are always fixed promptly, but I very much dislike doing my own quality control on my drinks every morning before I leave the drive thru.
UPDATE Attempted to send in an inquiry through the Tim hortons app, will not submit, and gives me no errors, just doesn't go though.
I had yet another disappointing experience here, am I really paying extra for this sad amount of whipped topping? I was up sold on it too.... and they gave me this?
The person in drive through also didn't greet us OR say anything to us after the transaction. Poor experience, total rip off on whipped topping, and the drink...
Read moreThere were many issues associated with our order on oct 22 2022. The restaurant was filled with flies and they were everywhere. We saw them in the pastry display case, in the preparation area of our order, on the walls and literally everywhere. Our order took an excessive amount of time to prepare and I rejected the first because of the flies. Not one worker would acknowledge or do anything about the flies when we mentioned it. We called later to speak to a manager and someone was supposed to return the call but it didn't happen. At four pm they did not have soup or chilli ready and would not have the rest of the night. That's unacceptable and not the way to serve the people. The server had no smile and hardly talked to us as she handed the fresh wrap after we waited over 30 mins to get a fresh one with no flies on it!!! We just stood there and observed what was going on in disgust. This was the worst restaurant experience of my life. Just gross to see it and I had to write this.
Does anyone know if the restaurant has installed doors on pastry cabinets? The health inspector said they were supposed to but...
Read morePassing through St. Paul's and stopped for an ice cap. Drive thru was packed and no customers inside so I decided to go in.
It not-so-quickly became apparent why everyone was going through the drive through. Waited 6 minutes for service despite there being five employees working, no one was on the counter. After five minutes a couple young local guys came in and asked if I was in line. After another couple minutes they stared complaining loudly about how McDonalds had better donuts anyway and this is why no one every comes here. At that point, I agreed.
When they finally took my order I had a small ice cap, a bottle of water, a bagel and a 10 pack of tim bits. They gave me a medium ice cap (as an apology? Maybe? Or just a screw up?), my tidbits and bagel but I had to yell for the water. What a disaster this location is. I rated the atmosphere low too because the entrance has a swarm of what I think are mayflies around it. My car was covered in them...
