Taco Boyz Stratford — Restaurant in Town of Stratford

After a long day at school I end my night off with a final class that spans from 6-9pm, which is right in the way of supper. Instead of eating before hand I decide to have taco boyz after I finish up thinking it’ll be a nice treat and save me time and energy instead of cooking myself. I order my food then pay at the register and walk out with my box of 3 tacos. Unbeknownst to me, in the split second the box passes from my line of sight the employee swaps it with the gentleman who ordered before me. Normally I would understand a mistake like this if it were a busy day with a multitude of customers swarming the doors…HOWEVER, it was only the aforementioned gentleman and myself in the restaurant at this time. I drove home with this box in my vehicle assuming it was the correct order as I had just watched the employee create it. I love the food they make, but the pure lack of attention to the situation is what grinds me to do this. On top of this incredibly ridiculous display of ignorance, the last time I visited the same establishment they were completely out of hard taco shells at 6pm. Mind you this is a restaurant that has taco in its name. Because of this I have to waste my money on food that I didn’t order, my time on dealing with the situation, and my time in writing this review in hopes that someone will save themselves the desperately poor scenario I was...

I was really looking forward to the three tacos deal on Wednesday! In fact I was so excited that I put in my order at 7:30 am for a 5:15 pm pickup. Unfortunately they had forgotten about my order. 😞. Thankfully the person that picked up my order questioned them about it. I am extremely disappointed by the amount of ingredients that are put in the tacos. Even when I paid full price the time before. Very small amounts of everything. Also the ingredients are thrown in without abandon and when you get your order home most of the ingredients are scattered around in the takeout box. Also my order did not include hot anything but I did get a few hot jalapeños. I really missed getting my sour cream tho. As well as a reasonable amount of the tomatoes and the taco sauce. Ordered on DoorDash, received not even 1/4 of the order. We ordered two bowls and two burritos and received one burrito and a plate of empty chips. Called to get it fixed and the person working was extremely rude and refused to fix the order and was confrontational — we just wanted the food and they were really rude and wouldn’t do anything to fix it, yelled at us and hung up on us. So we essentially threw away $70 because they refuse to give the food or any refund, and are not interested in customer service.
