Lodge 43 — Restaurant in Town of Sylvan Lake

Havent ever dined in but know this place is always busy.. i order take out up to 3 times a week.. the food is always amazing... However, lately a few things are being overlooked.. my gravy has been missing from my order twice now, same as the chipotle dip for the sweet potato fries, so tonight i specifically asked to ensure the chipotle was there, and then just now my order has the chipotle, but also has a gravy, which i dont even know if i was charged for as i never get a bill... But also, im a lil upset with the amount of sweet potato fries that came with my order as it costs extra to order them as a side... Though i dont even know how much, but i dont think this is a proper amount .. just frustrating... We spend like 50$ everytime we order take out.. and have never complained about our missing itens, but tonight im a little disappointed to say the least..

And now im editing my review as we can't even eat the sweet potato fries cause there is sooooo much salt on them (my husband said "thats like they dumped the bottle of salt by accident and tried to clean off the fries.)... So now once again i can't enjoy the side i paid extra for

Been going there since it opened and seen a bit of a decline in food quality. But this evening was absolutely terrible. I ordered the lodge 43 salad with chicken and sent it back because I could not fined anything promised in the salad except 2 tiny pieces of cucumber that is smaller than half a slice of cucumber, and 5 pieces of cranberries, the rest was lettuce, and a couple pieces of microwaved plain chicken. My spouse ordered quesadillas and it was so soggy she couldn’t pick it up. So we asked for our server to come and return our meals stating that they were far from what was expected and discribed in the menu, the salad was $22.00 so I was expecting something a hell of a lot more than what I was giving. We were told that I had to pay half price for my meal, I was just shocked, Especially waiting 45mins for this piece if crap to be served to me as well as my spouses poor attemp to a quesadillas. There was no manager there apparently, which I find bogus for being a Saturday evening, or a supervisor to come talk to us. So we paid and left. We will never come back to this place again after this experience, And having to pay for a meal which...

I've visited quite a few times since they opened.

Every visit the place has been packed to rafters busy for lunch time, and especially Friday Shrimp & Saturday Crab addition dinner time! The place has a cozy, welcoming ambiance. Menu is HUGE, lots to choose from for everyone - good luck hahaha.

Food is fantastic across the board everything we've tried has been delightful, from Appies to Entrees! Mussels, Poutines, Onion rings, Wings are excellent, Stuffed Yorkies, Sandwiches, Wraps, Burgers, Pasta, Steak! And seafood nights! Oh my its ALL delightful!

Drinks are good too! Staff & Servers truly do try their hardest to serve everyone politely, and effectively. It's not their fault that the restaurant is beyond popular! Haha It's gotta be hardwork, but they don't give up and don't cut corners. So go when you're not in an extreme rush, be kind, have patience, and tip generously. Above all, enjoy your time at Lodge 43! Amen sister!
