Timber Coffee Co. Sylvan Lake — Restaurant in Town of Sylvan Lake

I wasn't expecting to find a coffee shop this nice during my visit to small-town Alberta and it was a most welcome surprise. I make a hobby of testing out coffee shops in the Vancouver area and Timber coffee was on par with some of the best. Their espresso was incredibly smooth, making the latte I ordered delightful. Nutty and toasted without a trace of bitterness. Microfoam was top notch and the prices were on par with what I would expect for a good coffee. Good coffee and tea, great service and good location. An excellent alternative for kids/teenagers to hangout nextdoor @ the skateboard indoor halfpipe. Food is VERY good quality and fairly priced. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, ie; didn't make me feel like an idiot when I asked "What the heck is a London Fog ?".....WOW !! Is it ever tasty !! One of the best mochas I’ve had in 2023 for sure. In addition, the kids loved the cake pops while the parents loved the peanut butter cup cookie.

Timber is in a really convenient location for arriving and departing from Sylvan Lake. There’s a tonne of parking - never an issue. But on top of that, you have a spacious indoor and outdoor spot, incredibly friendly and attentive and quick service, not to mention the terrific products: coffee, baked goods etc.
