Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Town of Vegreville

I am a Gramma who came in with 5 grandkids, ages 5-9. I ordered 4 kids chicken fingers and 2 hamburgers. We had been travelling so kids were very rambunctious and I just want to feed them and leave because I felt like we were disruptive. Hamburgers were good but chicken fingers were inedible. None of the four kids ate them. They had to have been sitting and reheated. The coating was so hard they could hardly bite into them. I didn’t realize this until we were done. I didn’t say anything at the time because it was 8 pm and I just wanted to get home. After another 1.5 hrs of diving, kids were hungry because all they ate were their fries and ice cream. That’s when I decided to talk to manager about our experience. He did nothing and said he will tell cook not to leave chicken fingers sitting so long!!! What?! That’s what I’m paying for. Won’t be going back there. We had fries and chicken nuggets at another fast food restaurant and they every single one. Extremely disappointed in Vegreville...

Vegreville DQ screws up every order. It doesn't matter if you order 1 thing or if you order a bunch of things. It WILL without fail be screwed up!! I ordered 2 small blizzards on my phone and apparently they couldn't find the receipt for it. I showed the lady my phone with the digital receipt and order number, she just looks at her screen clueless. She can't find the receipt and couldn't do anything cuz the manager was not there. Cuz when is the manager ever there?!! He's not!! Do not get DQ until they hire people that actually know how to do thier jobs. This is just one of the many many times they have messed up my order. Even if it was completely free at this point it would not be worth it. Shut this...

I was not impressed with this restaurant. I went in the drive-thru which was a 15 min wait and then my food was over cooked and very dry. The burger was burned on the edges and there was hardly any ketchup or mayo on the burger (which I asked for).The poutine was extremely dry (not much gravy) and the french fries were half raw. I have been at this restaurant lots of times before and this time was awful, the staff was a little grumpy, but tolerable. I have had ice cream and food there before and it was good then, but I was not happy today. After careful consideration I have decided to visit this DQ again, to try it one more time, then I will make a permanent decision on if I would come back...
