Passing through Tweed I see this huge sign “Pizza Latina” very strange name for a pizza joint out in the sticks. Of course I had to stop because it’s pizza.
One bite everyone knows the rules….
The pizza itself had a good floppiness. I do like my pizza floppy with a slight crunch. There was a healthy amount of mozzarella cheese. The sauce could have a little more zip to it. I’m also not a fan of the pepperoni being placed underneath the cheese. Pepperoni is THE topping! Its the star of the show, needs to be right on top for everyone to taste. When it’s placed under the cheese it’s basically just deli meat.
Pizza score is 3/5. I don’t give out whole numbers but it’s a solid 60%
The lady at the front greeted us with a smile (under her mask of course) you can see her eyes perked up when we walked in. She was a pleasure to speak with, very kind and friendly.

This unassuming pizza joint in the middle of "downtown" Tweed, Ontario offered up one serious slice of 'za. Not to mention the owner (?) was super sweet, bring us our pizza to our table.
