Our server was very friendly and pleasant. That’s about all the good I can say about this place.
I came in for breakfast with a group yesterday. A few of us have allergies, so I had called the restaurant in advance and the man I spoke with on the phone assured me they could accommodate our allergies. However, when we came in we were informed by the host (the middle aged woman at the door) that there is a risk of cross contamination, while this is quite common, the way she approached it was not exactly polite. After speaking with the server, we decided to place an order as she was able to reassure us that while not all risk can be eliminated they do take appropriate precautions. However, within minutes of our server leaving our table, the host who had seated us abruptly came up to our table and told us, that she heard we were requesting accommodations and that wouldn’t be happening. We were all taken back by her tone which was quite disrespectful and were confused as to what they were not able to do. Given the whole interaction, we ended up opting to cancel our orders and asked our server to bring our bills. After making this request, the owner came to our table to explain the food prep situation - which again all seemed like it would have been fine. However, mid conversation the middle aged woman/host came back over to the table and proceeded to make rude comments about us. I have never been so uncomfortable or felt so disrespected. I work in a restaurant and I am horrified by what happened here. I immediately asked for the bill again, as we had previously - given we could not leave this situation until we paid. The owner was quiet as this woman spoke incredibly unprofessionally to us. We asked for the bill a third time and finally he said he would take care of it.
We were all in shock. To make matters worse on our way out and maybe this was totally by accident, but the host spilt water all over on one of us as we were leaving, and did not apologize or say anything about it, just kept on walking.
Honestly, this has been the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I would 10/10...

Everyone talks about their cinnamon buns. At par with any other bakery. The couple of times I’ve been there, the cinnamon buns have been dry (main body of the bun and not where the glaze and frosting soak up) moderate amount frosting and underwhelming compared to the “hype” that others boast. If you even look at the pictures posted of the cinnamon bun, look at the base of the buns; dry! There’s definitely a bias on the exaggerated claims of how the buns are.
During the peak season there’s always line ups out the door. Understandable as there are only a few places to dine-in in wasagaming. The service we received for dining in during the off-season was sub standard to a simple dining experience. The server was annoyed by our minimal order; we just wanted to have cinnamon buns, coffee and hot chocolate. It came off as “not worth their time” due to the total cost of our bill. Of course for the service industry whether you order just a coffee or a whole family 3 course full meal, the service should always be the same. They forgot our butter and served us the cinnamon buns cold. We asked to have it warmed up during ordering. Was greeted by an audible scoff and attitude from taking the cinnamon buns from us to the simple “toss” of the plates when bringing them back. We tipped the standard as we understand it’s not just the server that does the work. The staff at the front counter were super friendly and welcoming. The dining room was super clean. Coffee was good and the kids enjoyed the hot chocolate. We won’t be writing this place off and hopefully will get a better experience for the third try as We have heard from friends and read the reviews of praise and positive experiences. It definitely is a staple visit for visitors that come to wasagaming. It’s part of the local experience in a beautiful...

We went for breakfast as a group of 6 this past Saturday expecting a wait due to the time an dour group size. But it is so disorganized. We went inside to put our names on the list for a table, we waited 8 minutes to speak to someone while multiple employees stood around staring at us. I understand maybe their job wasn't to put names on the list but they could've told us someone would be right with us or went to get someone who could put our names down.
Once on the list we waited outside with all the other people waiting. There was 2 tables ahead of us. We were a larger party so we knew there were less options of where we could be sat. One table of 4 was seated then it was just a party of 2 and then our party of 6. The next table to finish was a party of 6 and they sat the group of 2 at that table when a different table for 2 was about to finish paying. we ended up having to wait a very long time for another larger table to be available while about 6 other groups were sat ahead of us.
It just doesn't make sense to seat 2 people at a large table when there's 3 large tables and a dozen small ones. We waited an hour for a table when there was only 2 ahead of us.
The food was also incredibly mediocre. They have no condiments of their own, they come individually packaged. You get one small syrup packet for 3 huge pancakes. We asked for more and...
