Slow Service Most of the time, used to go there a lot, recently, paid for a friends table then found out my friend had to pay also after i left, the waitress supposedly made a table mistake, i believe my 60 plus dollars mysteriously disappeared would not have known other then by chance , owner ( Ian ) never even had the courtesy to contact me, his staff had to handle it. Beware of possible scams is all i can say. i will never return. Not really worth a star at all, but cant post without one
This is the Email I sent to Owner Ian
Subject: Pre paid table Ian this is Richard Marriott there was no mistake about the table I paid for it was made quite clear I was at the waitress station over by the windows and my server was told the table directly behind me, I was standing at the station and my back was to the table next to it., She went and asked the server for that table to come over and again the one serving the table i wanted to pay for asked which table to be sure I said its the one directly behind me, we were standing right in front of it, it was the one right next to the station. Later in the week when i asked my friend if he enjoyed a meal on me he said he paid also, so i asked him what he had and it matched my receipt. The menu was the same for everything they had, and there shouldnt have been a mistake on the table number. There was no mistake my feelings are this I paid $62 for a table prepaid that I didn’t know either that or I paid $62 into her pocket anyway I showed your manager my receipt and she said that its not uncommon for two tables to be the same bill, which is not that common at all, and said that she would talk to you about it. I had to go back a week or so later as i never received a call from you or her and she just said it was a table mistake and thats it. How would you feel in this predicament, I feel taken. Also in my experience with running a business for over 40 years i would have eaten the 60 bucks and kept a satisfied customer. I have been coming to your business since you took it over, many years and many dollars later and i dont even get a courtesy call from you. I will not come back. Just so you know my feelings on the matter I think you should have talked to me about it and it should’ve been handled by you and not through your employees thanks Ian. Bye
No Reply Was Given, so you make your own decision, when an owner of a business cant reply to something this important then there is definitely an issue that they do not want to address. Not good business or Employee Management is my thoughts...
Read moreIf your coffee pot has been sitting there for more than an hour, make another pot!!! Don't wait for your customers to complain about how terrible it is and then offer to make another pot. Customers don't like waiting for things that should be right the first time. I ordered my wrap on white and it came on whole wheat so they had to remake it. When I finally got it back, there was so much mayonnaise in it that it was inedible. I advised the server and she asked if I wanted them to make another one. Well no, actually, I didn't. After not being able to even drink the coffee and after having the wrap made wrong once already, I didn't want to pick something else off the menu. I wanted the food that I ordered to be made correctly. So I didn't eat my lunch except the fries, and when the bill came they charged me for the wrap. When I disputed, the server argued with me!!! Said she gave me a chance to order something else. Yes, and I gave them two chances to make the food correctly which they couldn't do. Think I wanted to wait around, watching everyone else eat, and then get my food after that and have everyone watch me eat? No. And the fact that she argued with me really ticked me off. Dont wait for your customers to tell you your food is made wrong. Open your eyes. Keep the coffee fresh and double check your orders before you serve them to your customers. I will NOT come...
Read moreI went with a friend of mine who has been here before. We were seated promptly. The restaurant had a handful of customers in it when we arrived and less by the time we left. The waitress took 20 minutes to come and take our order, then we waited another 20 minutes to get our buffalo nachos (they were good)not worth the wait. We had to ask for coffee refills 3 times. The waitress disappeared to the bar to talk with the men sitting there watching TV. I walked by 2 times hoping to get her attention so we could order dessert. No luck. Another 15 minutes go by and we finally order cheesecake which she wasn’t happy to put chocolate drizzle on and the crust on the cheesecake was a bit on the stale side. When it came time to pay the bill, she asked us if everything was ok with the food. We answered yes, then proceeded to tell us that because we didn’t give her a tip, which she definitely didn’t deserve, she would have to pay out of pocket 4% from the total of our bills. We were floored that she would be so bold since we were ignored from the beginning. The total of the 4% was $0.88 each. So, for the $1.76 she supposedly had to pay out of pocket, there will be no repeat business from us!
