River Rock Theatre — Attraction in Richmond

River Rock itself is great - room,staff, brunch etc.

Sadly I have to say the December 11 2018 Soul Christmas show was not. Unlike most shows I've seen here there were plently of empty seats.

The 1st and last performers playing tribute to Fats Domino and Little Richard were excellent. The James Brown etc. part was a lot of screaming maybe thats all he did? The band playing for all performers i.e. it's musicians were excellent!

Worst of all was the Tina Turner yelling "singing" show. I removed my hearing aids and shoved kleenex in my ears. So did my spouse. Others could be seen covering their ears. I'm surprised the sound techs didn't see this and turn down the awful...

A nice cozy theater. The seats are nicely staggered and configured in a way that the audience in front of you does not block your view. There are paid parking short walking distance from the theater, and there is a free parking lot not too far away. But walking from the free parking lot to the theater, you will have to walk through the casino/gambling tables. If you have children with you, you will have to walk around the casino (outdoor). The sidewalk along the casino is covered. Rain or shine is fine, but it may be a bit uncomfortable if it is...

Its a nice small theater in Richmond bc Canada 🎥 ☺️ . with comfortable padded seats but no drink holders on the seats . Has stairs and elevator .has a Drink 🍸 bar . Awsome shows here saw the irish rovers and definitely will be back .staff are helpful . Thier is a casino and buffet /restaurants,coffee shop,hotel attached to the theater . Thier is pay parking and public transportation like the Canada line...
