I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at your restaurant. I had heard positive things about your establishment and was genuinely looking forward to trying your tacos. Unfortunately, my visit was far from pleasant, and it has left such a negative impression that I feel compelled to share my concerns in detail.
When I arrived, I placed a very simple order: six tacos. Nothing complicated, nothing customized—just six tacos. Given the nature of the order, I had every reason to believe it would be prepared in a timely fashion. To my frustration, I ended up waiting for more than thirty minutes before my food was finally brought to me.
Thirty minutes may not seem like a long time under certain circumstances, but when it comes to ordering something as straightforward as tacos, it is entirely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was that I could clearly see four staff members working in the kitchen. With that many people behind the line, one would expect efficiency and coordination. Instead, the wait time suggested a complete lack of organization, urgency, or concern for customer satisfaction.
When my food did finally arrive, I was hopeful that perhaps the quality would redeem the long delay. Sadly, this was not the case. The tacos were bland, uninspired, and frankly not worth the time or the money I spent. After such a long wait, I expected food that would justify my patience, but instead I received something that tasted rushed and poorly executed. It left me wondering why I had waited so long in the first place.
As someone who values both my time and money, I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. Restaurants succeed not only because of the food they serve, but also because of the customer experience they provide. In this case, your business failed on both fronts: the service was slow and inefficient, and the food did not meet even basic expectations.
To be candid, I left thinking that I could have walked into the kitchen myself and prepared those six tacos faster and with more care. When a customer feels that way, it’s a clear indication that something is deeply wrong with the system in place. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but with four people on staff in the kitchen, there is no excuse for a thirty-minute delay on such a simple order.
Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to return. There are many other restaurants in the area that respect their customers’ time and deliver food that matches or exceeds expectations. I regret to say that your establishment does neither.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve your operations, because as it stands, I cannot recommend your restaurant to anyone and will not be coming...
Read morecharged $5 for meat for all four meals, even though it was listed in the description
each "quesadilla" was $7, so excluding the meat, you get a tortilla wrap, and gross white cheese melted into it, and get sour cream on the side even though my sister requested she got none. That was it. No garnishes, seasoning, vegetables. She said it came with beans. It did not since she is lactose intolerant. So we got beans on the side now, and that also cost an additional $5 each. The beans were also plain and looked store bought
for three "tacos" was the same as the quesadillas but smaller: smaller tortilla wrap, melted white cheese squished together, with sour cream on the side. No vegetables, no garnishes. Looked greasy and disgusting. The cost $8 plus $5 for beef. The picture made it look like hardshell, full of vegetables, colourful, appetizing
-gave two meals of chicken quesadillas which was made of plain tortilla with white cheese and tasted like peeled off chicken from Superstore, with zero seasonings, green onions, or anything
charged $2 per bean dish which supposedly was supposed to come with the "chicken quesadillas"
asked for beef tacos which were three small soft tortilla wraps with white cheese in it. The picture showed 3 loaded hardshelled tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. but simply came out like that
there were no garnishes or vegetables as displayed in the website and menu pictures
Virgin daiqueries were $7 each and were small and overpriced for their size
-no air conditioning
_ no soap in washroom
No music
_only gave silverware for two for a table of four
never refilled water even when asked
-Virgin margaritas cost $7 each
never checked on us
-went because it said 4.1 stars
_ all this cost $70 for 1 adult and 3 preteens. I could've made this way more affordable, better, and quicker at home
have several pictures as proof of how unappetizing and cheap they were. You can see them Zomato since I can't...
Read moreEdit/Update April 2023 - will NEVER eat here again. The quality has gone down hill, prices have gone up like other places but the food was dreadful. The chicken we were served was cold and dry, it was obviously old- not edible. The Conchita pibil had chunks of orange peel mixed in with the pork which was half fat and lacking in the good pibil flavour. The waitress never bothered to check on us once about our meal, and I have to say I was shocked when she brought us a high chair and picked up my child without even asking and put her in it. Really not acceptable, crossed a boundary for sure.
My husband waited 10 minutes after I left with our kid before she came, that makes 30 minutes in a 14 or 16 seat restaurant that we just sat waiting, no service. Really disappointing.
No paper towel or hand dryer, dirty women's bathroom and chips broken out of the toilet seat to boot. We felt gross leaving and now our stomachs hurt too.
January 2020- Delicious, authentic Mexican food in Vancouver. We were in Puerto Morelos a couple of weeks ago and this food was almost as good as being there! We drove 25 min to try this place out and are happy we did.
The salsas given with chips before ordering were both very flavorful, the green was spicier haha
Our food came quickly and it was delicious. We had the conchitas pibil plate and the nachos. More than enough for 2! Churros with ice cream were amazing too.
It's Sunday afternoon ahere's one lovely lady seating, taking orders and busing tables in this small but busy place.
Definitely a place...
