Norquay Park is a popular spot on jogging routes, for tai chi, or for relaxing in the sunshine. The northern portion of the park was redesigned in 2011. New features include a rain garden which filters runoff from the new water spray park recharging the groundwater and providing water for landscape plants during the summer, a playground, sport court, tai chi area, pedestrian paths, benches and mosaics created by local artists and residents. The park was named for the nearby school in 1909 when it fell within the district of South Vancouver (before the city was amalgamated in 1929). Read moreOur go to park. Easy to find parking, which is always a plus. They have 2 playground structures; for kids under 5 and one for the older kids. They have a baseball diamond near, washrooms, basketball courts a sandbox and lots of benches but the main attraction is the spray park feature. Its not too elaborate but it gets the job done of soaking the kids on a hot summer day. There is a little "Creek" feature that is cute. There's also a lot of big trees which gives nice shade. There is a large field that people barely use with 2 baseball fields on opposites sides but I people usually play baseball some summer afternoons. There is a playground for little kids with some water features. There is a basketball court and a couple people play there. Not too busy. Sometimes skaters gather there and have some fun. There are bathrooms but I am not sure if they are open at this time. There is a bus stop in the northwest corner. Some people walk around...
