I thought the 1400+ positive reviews were bots. THEY WERE NOT BOTS. I will COMBUST IF I DON'T EAT HERE AGAIN. OH MY GOD

Rose cake??: EASY 5/5. I took a bite and melted. Flavour is so aromatic and floral, the lychee jam? and the rose cream is insane. Insane. If I don't eat this again I think I will implode

Chocolate rosemary cookie: 4/5 also insanely good, the dark chocolate flavour was deep, the rosemary paired so well with it, and it was salty and sweet. The salt worked so well. It was like a mousse but in cookie form. And salty. and very chocolatey. Flavour wise, it reminded me a bit of (my friend's) hot chocolate.

Strawberry brioche bun: 4.5/5 super good, it's filled with strawberry cream, and by strawberry, I mean. Real strawberry flavour. It was like I was eating strawberry puree in cream form, and mmm it was good. I wish there was less brioche, but the bread did balance the strawberry, I think. I just want to eat the strawberry cream alone. Will cry myself to sleep thinking about the strawberries.

Matcha winterberry Bisque cheesecake: 3.75/5 this is objectively good, (the winterberry stuff on top was INSANE, I'd eat this alone, flavour reminded me of raspberry. Tart and delicious) but I do wish the matcha flavour was stronger.

Hot chocolate: 4/5, my friend got it and asked for the drink to be extra creamy and sweeter. Good froth!! good cream!! very balanced. Tasted like the in-between of dark and milk chocolate! It was sweet but also bit salty so it totally balanced out without the sweetness being icky. My friend said it tasted Godiva chocolate!

The workers were also REALLY kind and sweet :) were very genuinely friendly and willing to help out, like when I had to ask what was in the rose cake filling...

Hidden gem. Finally had an opportunity to visit this highly rated bakery cafe. The outside signage was easy to miss. The interior of the cafe seats only a maximum of 12 patrons. I ordered an almond croissant and an Americano to enjoy while I was seated at a window seat overlooking the community children's park across the street. All the seats were likewise filled. The pastry board selection of goodies next to the cash register was quickly selling out. My croissant didn't disappoint. There were shards of laminated flaky layers as I bit into the croissant complimented by the sweet almond paste filling. Perfection. My Americano was very good. I only wished the temperature was hotter. My eye was caught by a diminishing plate of Churro morning cream buns that I couldn't pass up on so I ordered one to take home. This bun was coated on the outside in a cinnamon sugar, topped by a dark chocolate ganache piped as a rosette and finished with pearls of white chocolate. The cinnamon sugar was an ode to a Mexican Churro but the inside cavity consisted of a pate choux filled with a vanilla creme pastry. This bun (their humble description in my opinion) is reminiscent of an Italian lobster tail pastry! A marriage of a croissant outer layer and a cream puff. Absolutely unforgettable ā¤ļø! I wished it didn't seem to disappear so quickly as I ate it. I know my family will go crazy for this one. I can imagine myself planning my next visit to try their other offerings if this one is sold out. Their prices are a bit high for some of their items considering their relative size such as their scones and their queen aman pastries but it's not about quantity but quality. You have to visit at least once to know what you're missing and judge...

I had a terrible experience at the Fir Street branch today. I ordered cold green tea and an almond pastry. Was chatting with my friends when I noticed I still don’t have my drink. I went to the counter and asked about my tea, they pointed me to a glass of water sitting on the counter saying ā€œthat’s your teaā€. I said oh, I thought it was water. Is this my tea? The guy and the girl (picture attached) replied yes that’s your tea. I took a sip and it tasted like ice water. My friend came and asked for iced water, the guy gave my friend the exact looking glass with water. I tasted my friend came sa water and it tasted exactly like my drink. So I said ā€œthis is not tea, it’s literally waterā€ referring to my drink. The guy (Aris) said it’s tea, I just put too much ice. Anyway, I’ll make you another one. I watched when he boiled water, steeped the tea and poured ice. The cup and the drink color looked totally different. (See picture below) I asked why they lied to me. Why they gave me a glass of water and said that was my tea. They still insisted it was tea. I don’t know why they did this to me. The guy looked and sounded so insincere and arrogant. Shame on you. Shame on the people who hired you. What, you randomly picked a person to make fun of? To think we drove all the way there from Richmond because my friend recommended your shop. What a...

We visited Beauvoir because we heard really good things about their chocolate chip cookies. And, they certainly did not disappoint. We agreed that their chocolate chip cookie even beat Fresh Street’s and Bakd’s.
