0ur much loved Inuit sculpture of a walrus standing on one foot fell from its perched and experienced significant damage. I thought it would never stand again. Also one flipper was damaged. ( will not comment on the damage to the floor where it landed). We took the piece to Petley Jones gallery for a repair ( of note some years previous we had to take an elephant to them ). I was beyond delighted with the repair that was done. The walrus can stand on one food despite losing 25% of the foot and you have to look hard to see that the flipper was previous damaged. When I was ready to bring my antique photos in for restoration and repair, they worked with me in the gallery to get the best look and style frames for the pieces.
Having a very hectic work schedule meant I needed them to hold onto the photos for almost two months. The photos were not small by any means either. One was about 2'×3' and the other was about 1'×4' so having them hold them was very handy for me.
