Quiet tucked place that had initially a good first impression, was quite interesting to order a combo that had unagi nigiri listed in the menu yet none whatsoever on the plate. The server explained to me that it was a “long typo” and that there should not be unagi nigiri. Tea was served warm but didn’t include much tea as it was pretty watered down. Wasabi and ginger were good, though the spicy salmon roll had only a drizzle of sauce which can be good or bad depending on your preference. The nigiri with fish roe (top left) had only rice and the seaweed wrap, nothing in it which was probably supposed to be the unagi nigiri..

They have delicious sushi and the party tray sushi. You can tell they prepared their sushi fresh when it has been ordered. My husband and I know if the sushi rolls are pre-made in some restaurants around our area. The party tray itself .. the sushi rolls are decently rice portioned and the ingredients are freshly made. It has perfect amount of rice unlike other places who overload the rice on their sushi rolls. The restaurant is good for take-out or a casual place to ea-in for quick lunch, snack, or dinner. It is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood. We will be their repeating customers .

Easy access, free parking Food is ok, aburi nigiri is good, canto run. volcano roll is just deep fried california roll. Sushi here is very sauced, so if you are accustomed to jp style you should ask for less sauce. We ordered gyoza, crunch roll, bc roll, and volcano roll. Gyoza was not crispy on the panfried side. The rolls were pretty good. Small place - 5 tables pretty much. Price is pretty cheap - 13$ special roll, 5$ for normal rolls, 7$ for gyoza, 3.25$ per aburi nigiri

Today I ordered online from their website and ordered their spicy salmon combo which, on their website, said it would include 4 pieces of sashimi, ebi sushi, California roll.. when I took my order home I did. It get what I ordered and when I called in to let them know about this the lady didn’t care. She said the online menu was wrong but didn’t bother making things right.

I will not be going back to Moon Sushi again and will be telling g everybody I know to avoid this place. They knowingly make a mistake and instead of owing up to it they tell you there’s nothing they will be...
